How Easy Was The Ground to Get To (from the station, by car, etc)
Considering I worked in Chorley for 2 years down the road from the place and still needed a map, not the easiest to find! Its actually very close to the town centre, its just hidden away!

If Applicable, How is Parking Near The Ground?
Loads of street parking. Ive turned up dead on kick off before now and still not had a problem.

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
The ground is quite interesting. Has three quite big old fashioned stands with cover, then just a path and grass bank on the other. The view from all of the covered areas isnt the greatest, but then the ground is generally big enough you can easily move around and find a decent space.

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
No problems.

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
They only have one little tea bar, and the queues are massive so never had a chance.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Poor the first couple of times, though understandable with like 200 people rolling around in it. Much bigger crowds these days, and it was pretty good last time I went.

How Are the Pubs and Local Attractions in The Local Area?
The club in the ground is very good. Further afield, try the town centre. Its not a bad little old fashioned town really, and has some good pubs.

Overall Score Out of 10?
I quite like it, one of the better of my local non league grounds.
7/10

We've got 2 food bars now, new catering company and the food is a lot better now. Queue's are still big for the larger food bar, but now we're averaging over 1,000 with attendances. Literally just got a new roof at the Duke Street end (the bigger of the stands behind the goal) aren't allowed on the grass banking anymore for safety reasons.

Got lost on the way from the train station, it's down a side street near the new ASDA.

Based on Where You Were Sat, How Was the View?
Sat in the middle of the main stand, roof a bit low, but not really obstructing anything.

How Were The Stewards on The Day?
Didn't see any, was only a friendly.

If You Ate at The Ground, How Would You Rate the Food?
Only one small bar when I went, was a reasonable queue.

How Was The Atmosphere At The Ground, From Both Sets of Supporters? Does the Stadium Hold the Noise?
Can't really comment, was a friendly so not much chanting, even with 2,200 people on.

Overall Score Out of 10?
Enjoyed the visit to a local non-league ground.

It's a crumbling ground. Needs demolishing.

It's not really though is it? New roof on the big terrace less than 2 years old, sure minor tweaks were made before the Fleetwood game last month too.

My comments are based on our battles with them when we clashed in Evo Stik North and Evo Stik Premier in 2011-12. The battles took place on the grass bank opposite the main stand. If they've made improvements I'll reassess when we visit them next season. Despite their very angry and uncontrollable fans I have a soft spot for them.

That's not their fans, that's the people of Chorley.

You also missed out the word retarded.

That grass bank is now fenced off, can't say I disagree about the fans behaviour though from what I've seen.

The worst thing that happened during our first game there was the half house brick that was thrown into the ground from the corner where there are some houses. It hit an OAP on the back of the head and felled him. He went off in an ambulance. When it happened I told a policemen the direction the missile had come from, but he wasn't interested and told me to move on.
