Now if you are an Arsenal fan then this may really make you mad, I’m a man Utd fan, so it may annoy you even more to have me thinking and debating your club. However 2 years of clueless management and a lack discipline at Man Utd have made us Utd fans really angry and frustrated, so I can’t begin to imagine what it must be like to be a Gunner, and I mean that with no disrespect.

Regarded as the "specialist in failure" by Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger has become more of a man who is not at all loved by his club fans these days. It's been a long time since they brought some silverware. In this modern day football fans want everything rapidly. They don't care it's the transition period or whatever, they just want results.

If results are not coming their way and their team is not winning any trophy, they become restless and demand changes. Maybe Arsenal fans have endured enough. They have had enough of Wenger. Probably Wenger had brought all this upon himself due to his stubborn nature of doing things in the most perfect and cleanest of manners.

This season was probably the best chance for Arsenal to win the league title. All the main big money giants are having a poor season and they needed to get hold of this opportunity. Instead they have bottled their chances on numerous occasions this term. Just 4 wins since start of 2016 in premier league.

This year Arsenal had no real contender besides Leicester and Spurs. Both having less financial resources and less international star players than Arsenal. Gunners add every reason to be on top but they are not. The blame is on Wenger as his tactics have been questionable throughout the year, in big games specially. It was a golden chance for Wenger to clinch it but he refused to take it.

If I was an Arsenal fan, I would be so frustrated right now. The board need to set an example as to what is acceptable. Yes, they are achieving Champions League football year in, year out, but they are not challenging and that must be the most frustrating thing for a gunners fan.

Get your comments in and don’t just tell me that I’m a stupid man utd fan!

They are just so inconsistent - must be so frustrating for Arsenal fans knowing what their team could do if fully fit and with a top striker/midfielder coming in.

Sometimes it's a case of better the devil you know. Arsenal have won 2 FA Cups in 2 seasons and that's something to build on, but I can understand why the fans are frustrated that not much else has come with it over the last 10 years. With Bayern, Barca and Madrid around you can pretty much say goodbye to any chances of winning the Champions League, so that just brings it down to the Premier League. With Wenger you know that you're always getting into the top 4 and will push for the title until the annual collapse around February or March. Football has changed a lot in the last 10-15 years though with the money injected into teams such as Chelsea and Man City in particular which makes it harder for Arsenal to win the league. The competition is more fierce now, however, if there was a season that they'd of had the best chance for a long time it would be this season, and they seem to have fucked it up.

It would be very interesting to see how they'd cope without Wenger if he does get sacked. They could end up like Liverpool/Man United on a downhill decline and realise that Wenger was a safe option. These days though fans rang more and more.

The service he's given and the consistency to keep Arsenal around the top teams within the league should be admired, especially with the new stadium in which that held them back from overspending for a while.

Personally if I was an Arsenal fan, I'd want to keep him. He's done well in cup competitions the last couple of seasons and all the time you finish in the top 4 there's always hope of going one further, it's just a shame they always seem to get someone like Barca or Bayern quite early on. Who would be a realistic ideal replacement?

Although it may just be semantics, I don't imagine they'll sack him. He's probably done enough to be allowed a left by mutual decision or a standing aside to allow someone else to take over or summat should he go.

Whether he should or not, I dunno. There's such decent cases for both arguments that I cba to think long enough about it all to form a solid opinion either way really. Gut feeling is it would be shame - end of an era and whatever - if he does though.

Manchester city, Chelsea, Manchester United, i tell you their major problem is the fact that they all undergo a change in their management team. this is definitely gonna affect the squard. Simply because you are bringing in a new man with new method, motivation, discipline and the likes. An to be candid this fellow must possess a vita key of getting along with the players. Without any shadow of doubt this is the major issue this four major clubs talk of Man United, Chelsea, Man city and Liverpool are experiencing.
For instance the issue in Man United is solely due to the old, stereotype principle which Van gaal will always use. I was short of words after watching man united matches looking at his tactics, formation line-up, substitution and his lack of motivation. Ever since he came to united, he had not for once charged players on pitch due to his so called ego (sorry to say)
As regards manchester city, with all the stars at Etihad it is disheartening to see them play the way the play and still suffer defeat. The cost of their frontline is capable of buying almost the whole players in Arsenal. Also man city board is also at fault, signing a new manager and also announcing it when the season is halfway is too bad. without any shadow of doubt this is a major reason why they are not performing optimumly. this i believe had affected not only the coach but also the players.
Although "The Special One" had a bad season this year at chelsea, but to tell you the fact. it's becausethe players are fed up with his managerial skills and were indesperate need for a new coach. Mourinho will definitely be a good one for Man United and with the signing of Guardiola, Man United need an established coach.

Change in management is dangerious and always have a negative effect on the squard. this is the main reason why Arsenal should have been the most favourable club to win EPL

Arsene Wenger is the best businessman i had known so far in football. this remains the reason why he can't be sacked from his duty post. Look at the calibre of player he had, look at his skills during the transfer period and look at his method and pattern of play. For the last few years, this man had been retaining the fourth position, which makes him to play champions league playoff and thereby generate more money. His principle at market makes him purchase players at the lowest possible price. Ordinarily these players would have cost other clubs much money.

Now my question to everyone of us is this, who among us will have a club, appoint a manager to manage the club on your behalf. Although at the end of the season, this so called manager did not win you trophies but when you balnce your account, you discovered you've made large amount of profit. Please answer me, will you want to sack such a coach or not?

Even if you sack him, are you sure that you will get a quality replacement to contend with the likes of Guardiola, Mourinho(Man United), Jurgen Klopp(Liverpool), Chelsea manager and the reigning champion Leichester city.
I will be pleased to know what your answer will be.

I think he needs a helping hand with personnel. The squad has quality in spades, but lacks leaders, that's why they are constantly fading away from the title come March.

I don't think it matters what someone has done or how much you like them, if you see your team fall apart at the same juncture of the season for over half a decade then how much more patience can you hold?

Oh, i dont want to see the aftermath of wenger departure. This man undoubtedly is the only one that can manage that squard. Although, this should have been the best season for him but its disheartening to see what is becoming of him

Rather be in with a shout (which they have been for more seasons than i can remember) than spending an entire season around 6th-10th.

Think the only reason to get rid of him before the end of his current contract would be if they'd had the chance to get someone like Guardiola in when they had the chance or whether they'd want to get Mourinho in now for example, otherwise they'll likely see out his contract and plan for a replacement up until that point. However this season has been Arsenal's best chance of winning the title in a long time and they've capitulated.

It's a matter of perspective. If you support a team that is struggling like United and Liverpool then what Arsenal have is envious. Yet, if Liverpool and United were consistently in the same position Arsenal have found themselves in, the fans would be demanding more. I would love United to be in Arsenal's position right now, but if that came at a knowing cost that it'd constantly be around the same position for many season I'd turn it down.

Okay, i concur to those facts. But do you think these so called coaches like Guardiola, Mourinho and achieve what wenger had achieved with those sets of players. aside that do you think they can be as profitable as he is. The profit i mean is YEARLY INCOME-YEARLY EXPENDITURE. LET'S GET TO THE FACT WENGER IS THE BEST IN THIS LINE OF BUSINESS AND NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT FROM HIM. EVEN WHEN HE IS NOT WINNING TROPHIES, HE IS MAKING PROFITS.

Tough one innit? If, three years after Wenger, we get what Man United got after Ferguson (7th, 4th, this mess of a season and no trophies) then was sacking him a good decision? You'd have to say not, and with Guardiola (and Mourinho) already otherwise engaged, the closest thing to a guarantee of success is out of reach. So is it just best to stick with someone who will almost certainly keep you reasonably competitive, if not champions?

The problem is that you can only get rid of Wenger once. Arsenal fans have a reputation of being entitled enough as it is (and we are, as you'll know if you go to any home game we don't win 5-0), without demanding our most successful, longest-serving manager ever is sacked for not winning the league. This season has been so, so disappointing, and there aren't any obvious excuses, but we're not Real Madrid. It's not a disaster, we're third in the league for fuck sake. Is it worth risking becoming Liverpool over? If there were some obvious candidates out there, maybe. With the best unavailable I would say not.

Sack him. Arsenal have gone nowhere with him, still a nothing club in Europe. 2 nothing cups in recent years is not a good reason to keep him imo. Joachim Low maybe an option.
