Tuesday night will see the 119th league meeting between these 2 historic rivals and brother clubs. It's almost neck and neck so far with the sheep shaggers just edging 3 more wins and 6 more goals:

Pld 118 Hx 41 Wx 44 Draw 33
Goals Hx 161, Wx 167.

So come on MasterBator, have you got the courage of your convictions, put your balls where your mouth is, let's have a prediction from you. :bdick:

Everyone else is free to vote too.

A comfortable 2-0 win for Wrexham sees Halifax scoring 8 goals in the next 11 winless games, propping them just a point above the relegation zone and searching for a new manager.

Draw. Fast paced, lots of bottling. Nervous from that dreadful little away end, once again.

There was an old man named B2TF,
who posts like he's spent the whole day on meth,
tinpot as owt, of that there is no doubt,
he trots old match records out,
for his current club have only 11 years of history,
why he glamorises them is indeed a complete mystery,
this game belongs in the general match thread,
'this is Wrexham's cup final' he said,
but for the boys of One Football Forum,
it once again shows his lack of decorum.

Yeah, he's a fucking genius, isn't he. :fl:

His obsession with The SHAYMEN would be embarrassing even for one of us.

There was a young lad called Soup Ladle
Who's been with the Pools since the cradle
But he's not really happy, no way man
Cuz he wishes he'd been born a Shayman

Hey I'm good at this! :ds:

Did I mention I'm the go-to guy in the office for rhyming couplets? :bdick:

Nervous? They've only beat us once in last 10 League games. Bring your slippers and pipe and chill out. 3- 1 Shaymen. :bdick:

I predict that B2TF will claim to be at this match but will also remarkably be home approximately 10 minutes after the full time whistle.

Why are we all posting doggerel that starts off in limerick form before nosediving? Can I join in?

There was a young man called Pliny
Who'd sit on his own with a tinny
That's where the metre falls off a cliff
Based on an intra-Brotherhoof tiff
The Shaymen had surprised everyone with their start
Unremarkable skill masked by an exceptional heart
The former's an aspect we need to nurture
While the latter we shall keep for a very bright... furture? Bloody hell.

Ok here we go,
"There were some bald men with a comb,
Who's ego is based on their 'home',
Be it floodlights or steak pies, history or old rights
they look unlikely to Football league roam."

Ok I’ll keep mine short:

“B2TF who started this thread with a poll,
has a girlfriend who is a blow up rubber doll”.

Thanks.

the full version should go....

B2TF who started this with a poll,
but the whole thread is remarkably droll
perhaps the poor guys not got a life
or has a 40 stone domineering wife
or a girlfriend who is a blow up rubber doll.

Ha! Not as easy as I make it look huh? Les Dawson was a classically trained pianist, you know. :ds:

I'd like to congratulate Wrexham on winning their cup final. We played well enough to be optimistic this evening despite being cheated out of the win by the Wrexham defender taking one for the team to deny Showtime Silver the opening goal. :ds:

A scrappy win, but good to be putting these relegation battling sides to bed. Now onto a proper challenge against Notts, Barnet and Hartlepool.
