Going to western Canada for 2 days next week. Not Vancouver though, I'm doing Northern BC to see some nature and wildlife including Grizzlies, Moose and hopefully Cougars.
Currently booking up some tours but the flight is nearly sorted.
3 of the last 4 round of 16's: out to South America.
In the last 3 Copa America's, they've only beaten Uruguay, while losing to Peru, Chile, Uruguay (2011), Ecuador and drawing against Bolivia, Chile (2015) and Venezuela.
This. Croatia to me haven't been very good and are way overrated by some. They've been good with their pressing but when it comes to attacking, they are inept. Its always 1 player (usually Perisic or Modric) driving forward with the rest arriving to the box really late, often leaving them with...
Mexico have 1 win vs South America in the last 9 competitive encounters.
Honestly, why do they insist in the "debate" that they are better than us? Its hardly an argument at this point.
Its been embarassing so far, but I'm not overly shocked. Particularly with Colombia and Argentina who were god awful in qualifying. I expected more from Peru, and Uruguay/Brazil have done their job, albeit the latter have also been very underwhelming.
Not sure about that, I thought they were terrible most of the second half. However, near the end of the first and start of the second, they exposed our weakness and won the aerial duel which we just gifted.
We were good in the first half, and we've not really declined. Rather, Denmark have been intelligent and have tried to expose our aerial weakness and that is helping them hugely in this game.
I'm a bit pessimistic to be honest, we need to see Paolo Guerrero.
I wasn't talking to you about Iceland - just Croatia. I've seen them a few times and they do not play like a team at all.
And yes, I am incredibly nervous for ours.
