I don't particularly rate Connolly, been quite disappointed with him after he got pretty good reviews from Bristol Rovers fans.
We've had a bad run of injuries but most of the squad is fit or nearly fit now, so there are no excuses if we don't make (at least) the playoffs. We've got a tough run in but we've got multiple players who are above League Two standard so hopefully we can together a decent run...
Apparently ROI are concentrating on players who will be available for the next tournament cycle, so they haven't called COR up. I think the two teams have agreed not to postpone it but I dunno.
It's depressing as hell that we survived in the Championship for nearly a decade without investment and with crowds never averaging above 7,000, but now even surviving in League One is a big task.
I've been an Alex fan all my life, because my big brother was, so I had no choice in the matter.
My first game was a 3-2 defeat at home to Scarborough in the 92/93 season.
No, this stretch of games is the one that will pretty much confirm us as champions.
Fairly crap game, not helped by one of the worst pitches I've ever seen, in the worst ground in the EFL. We tried to overcompensate for how bad the pitch was by launching it long for 70 minutes and we didn't...
I'm going to Salford away, still haunted by the memories of last season when the referee robbed us. We've lost every time we've been there before, so we absolutely owe them one.
Yeah, that's basically where I am with it. The force is definitely the issue, and there probably was no need to go in that hard. But it wasn't particularly high or two-footed and I don't believe there was any malice at all.
A good chance to take points off loads of our rivals... Plus we've got key players coming back. In the space of about 2 weeks, we've gone from barely being able to put a team out to having depth in every position. If we can get Demetriou and Lankester back soon without losing any more players...
