Yeah no idea myself either... the exact opposite of what we did against Grimsby... granted we lost late on in that game but I at least assumed we'd look to build on what were some positive signs from the first half of that game.

it does cheer me up that Harrogate are just as much of a bogey team for Bratfut as they are for us

    Our pitch

If both clubs agree then the EFL don't typically raise any objections, we've done it on occasion

I mean you've got Sweeting to make those decisions anyway so given that he's staying at MK your owners' footballing knowledge is less of a factor... we assume Sweeting rates Williamson.

ah yes, the footballing powerhouse that is Kuwait.

Well that's why I asked the MK fans. We don't know they wanted rid of him... we're just assuming so because their fans wanted rid of him... both clubs have new owners who don't know a lot about football but clearly someone who knows football rates him or there wouldn't have been a tug of war for...

So the big question here, since we've apparently just paid compo to MK Dons for a manager who was close to being sacked. Was he really? The MK Dons fans don't like him because of how they bottled last season's playoffs, and how poorly they've started this season, but do any of the Dons fans...

Well yeah, any appointment could turn out to be an inspired one. It's just the additional focus this would bring on their competence as owners that I'd want to avoid if I were in their position. Things between the Piataks and the fans have been great so far but we know how quickly fans can turn.

This is what people are saying. They surely know how risky it would be though. Regardless of how well they've done their research, paying compensation to a rival club to bring in a manager who hasn't made a good start to the season will attract a hell of a lot of scrutiny and suspicion from the...

worth noting the bookies suspending betting doesn't mean that whoever they had as favourite at that point is still the favourite. They may not have a clue but they don't want to take bets on something that seems like a done deal and is just waiting on an announcement.

A few years ago when we were on a six-game winning run and 4th in the L2 table, John Sheridan suddenly departed to join Chesterfield who were battling against relegation from the Conference so these things do happen... not that I can see it in this case.

Also his time at Barrow ended poorly. I always rated him but don't want a manager who's just off the back of bottling promotion, the whole criticism of Simmo was that for all he's done in the past that proves he's a good manager he was on a poor run and that just set in. If we didn't have faith...

Well that's a disagreement between you and HG that is honestly the different way round that I would have expected. I agree with HG, the players we have are good enough. This isn't like, for example Keith Curle's first season, where he inherited a load of players that Kavanagh had picked up on a...
