I can tell already next season is going to be a mess. A FA cup game every 10 days. Having to play Sat Tue for most of the season. Then the inevitable postponements. This is from a Step 5 club supporter and Step 1.

Oh well, the owners hadnt planned for an immediate return to the FL this season so it was a bonus to be in the POs. We were awful in the first 30 minutes and only really had a 15 minute spell in the 2nd were we could have levelled. Harrogate deserved winners.

Yeah, completely different side in the second half. All players got 45 mins and no injuries which is probably the best result. Not a great scoreline though!

I have already touched wood as a precaution but... What if a team, say the winner of Yeovil and Barnet then find Corona virus in the squad and have to quarantine. That would mean the Semi-final postponed and also the final! Has anyone seen a contingency plan anywhere?

Agree and what if a team plays a friendly? As long as both teams have all been tested including staff attending what will they do? Ban them from the playoffs??

I think you may be right. A week ago there seemed no hope of friendlies. But now it seems we may be lining one or two up.

are play off clubs allowed to buy players? that could be a little unfair potentially.

We should be ok, with the time off we managed get out injured back as well. Hopefully the FA sort whats happening with the Trophy and we can get those games in before these take place, which I think start on the 18th July. We really need to step up with interteam friendlies next week.

we do have that Trophy Semi Final against them that should be played according to the league/fa.

BBC reporting that the playoffs will start on July 18th!!! Is this a misprint or have they got information from somewhere. I thought they had to be started "by" then but surely it doesnt need that long wait?
