Elliott has all the physical attributes you could ask for, and a really good attitude. Unfortunately he doesn't have much of a brain, and that's a real issue at Championship level.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we went for him and maybe offered Tom Elliott as part of the deal. Similar player, but not made the step up but effective enough in league one.

Marshall is a brilliant winger, but you really do need to play him 442 with a decent pacey fullback on the overlap to get the best of him. Cracking delivery and good skill to make a yard, but no real pace. Works hard defensively though.

Shrews reminded me a little bit of ourselves when we came up. Organised, gritty and determined and with a bit of quality in the right areas (the first leg goal was absolutely fantastic). If it starts to look like a genuine threat, we'll start to see some dubious refereeing performances going against us. The FA won't stand for us spoiling their premier competition.

It'd be interesting to see what we'd get for those two after this year though, Saville scoring 1 in 4 for us from midfield and a few months ago led the league in interceptions and tackles. Still only 24 too.

In all seriousness, Saville wouldn't get in your team now but I'm amazed that Wallace wasn't worth keeping. He's been absolutely superb this year.
