Shame. Hoping we could possibly get 10,000+ in that game. You should be able to manage the 2,000? In the last 25 years I think the only clubs to sell out the full allocation are Tottenham, Arsenal, Leeds and Everton. EDIT: Not Arsenal, terrace was closed that day. It was closed for Tottenham...

Approx 3,700. 2,000 seats in East Stand and 1,700 on the terrace behind the goal.

A couple of options there. They look straightforward with zero opportunity of being stranded. Or if staying over is an option and money is no object then stay overnight in Manchester. There's also a few longwinded options with a few changes for tomorrow morning of London upto Manchester and...

I would love to see you sell out at Brunton Park. I think the last time we had to open the Waterworks End was for Everton 6 years ago in the FA cup.

I once took the Cumbrian coast train upto Carlisle from Kendal. 4 hours 40 minutes! Epic and mental.

Simpson said both were tightness in the muscles rather than anything serious. He seemed to think come Monday morning they'd be alright. Fingers crossed. Back is a warrior and we don't want Patrick out now he's found his shooting boots.

I'm not saying one way or the other, just mentioning what was reported on radio Cumbria. I'm pretty sure that Carlisle United covered the cost of the damage last time. Why wasn't the money we sent used to pay for repairs?

    Saturday 9th October

Interesting post-match comments on Radio Cumbria about the seats. They reported that a local Hartlepool journalist told them pre-match that the seats under the netting were already in an awful state. If true, and it's a big if, it doesn't excuse the seat throwing, but it's a bit reckless to...

I was stood behind the goal. Gunter knew it was a penalty. He instantly looked at the ref waiting for him to point to the spot, sheepishly walking away and continuously glancing at him because he couldn't believe his luck.

That's what you get playing a winger as a lone striker. To be fair it was a good save by their keeper, Dickenson did everything right. 2-0 at that point would've been telling because Orient were still on the bus.

Woeful in the final third. Fitness levels and tactics are a concern regarding the last 20 minutes of games. On that showing both Carlisle and Orient will be lucky to see the sunny side of 18th come the seasons end. Vast improvement required from both.

I did. Clear penalty. Not really worth discussing.

League Two is tedious. Two average teams playing basic football with very little skill. It's purgatory. Maybe one day we'll escape the tedium. One day far in the future.

I'm stood behind the goal Whelan was nowhere near it, clearly came off Smith. Gobshite that lad. You're sat at the other end of the pitch in Scotland! Why did Jackett sub #24 if he never himself thought that he was a very lucky boy not to be sent off? He could've been sent off twice

Orient #24 subbed at half-time. Classic!

    Saturday 21st August

Orient #24 should be off. 5 fouls. 4 of them yellow card infringements. The last one sticking his arm out for a clear handball, not even a free kick given. Convinced referee never gave the free kick because he'd have to send him off. Only one team in it, cue the Orient turnaround.
