    Stickied Confirmed Signings 2024/25

They aren't paying a transfer fee for this player - just a bumper signing on fee and extortionate wages. And it's unfair to say who this is on my source, because I was told in confidence. My point was less about the player in question (some will have heard of him, some probably not, as with any...

    Stickied Confirmed Signings 2024/25

I know details of a signing for Salford that will be announced shortly - the figures involved are eye watering, more than I've ever heard of at this level. It would even blow teams like Tranmere and Orient out of the water.

    National League Play-off Thread 2017/18

I would guess Boreham Wood's wage budget is at least £500k - perhaps nearer £750k. It is pretty scary to think how much money the owner must be spending considering they get regular home crowds of less than 400.

Boreham Wood are out-cheating Sutton currently - some feat.

Montrose and Andrade may well be playing in the FL next season - both excellent players.

    The future of Eastleigh?

Over time, they are going to suffer from a huge double whammy. They have been giving out a combination of season tickets for adults priced at £120 and lots of games with free entry. They did this whilst they were being backed heavily and for some of this time, did well in the National League...

    National League 2017/18 Season Review

Your personal player of the season: Danny Whitaker Your teams best prospect: We don't have many really young players, but I still think Danny Whitehead could play at a much higher level in the future. Biggest Flop: No-one who regularly played was a flop, but a lot of people were very excited to...

    Askey to Wrexham?

I would be very surprised if Askey is still manager of Macc at the start of next season. However, I think he's more likely to move to another FL club rather than drop back down to the NL - if available, I would think Tranmere and Wrexham are the only jobs he'd consider down here.

Definitely helps! But there's always a good atmosphere from your fans too.

    The FL welcomes back Macclesfield

I think we averaged 2300 in our last season in League 2 in 2012 when we were absolutely terrible and got relegated. We've averaged 1800 this year in the National League, but the average number of away fans is sub 100 because the league is so south eastern. It depends how we do on the pitch, but...

    National League Fixtures - 21/4/2018

Best day of my 17 years supporting Macc yesterday. I've been so nervous for weeks that Tranmere would catch us and now we've got it over line. We played well and put in our usual professional job to win yesterday's game. Danny Whitaker gets most of the mentions on here, but George Pilkington is...

Most tinpot thing I ever heard. (tinpot thread)

It's a bit cringey from Mitch, but he's young and drunk - has no-one else ever done something stupid that they regret when they're drunk? Plenty of Macc fans I know want Tranmere to win the play offs and join us in League 2. It's a local game, and we've had some good games against each other.

Match Day National League Fixtures 10/04/2018

Professional performance and great result - particularly after the setback against Ebbsfleet. Boreham Wood were a decent side that lacked cutting edge. We were solid all over and Tyrone Marsh took his goals well. Still need 4 points, so there's no point celebrating yet. If Tranmere beat...

    Stickied Non-League Away Support 2024/25

There were about 30 in the seated bit as well. I reckoned 130 after the game and my dad thought 150. Definitely more than 83 anyway. :dis: There were never 600 people in the ground either! They didn't have many more fans than us.

With no Whitehead, Durrell and Lloyd, I can’t see us getting much from the next 2 games. But I live in hope.
