Your post reminded of his short time with FGR. His glory days were in his distant past. I'm not sure whether he ever started a league match but on his last game for club he scored, took off his shirt to celebrate by waving it around his head and suffered the indignity of a yellow card.

With a turnover of seven teams each year in League 1 it is greater than all others So credit to those regular mid-table teams who hang on year after year. I did a quick check of years when current teams 1st played in present table: ps If any errors please let me know politely and I'll amend.

Fuck me. The first season that FGR were in Football League, they played Cheltenham Town FC away in one of the last games of the season. The Cheltenham crowd were relishing the thought that they could be the team that relegated FGR back to NL. However the game was pivotal in FGRs survival...

FGR start season with cracking away match against Bristol Rovers. Short distance for the away fans to travel. But FGR appear to have drawn short straw in that 1st and last games of season are both away.

How many FIFA referees regularly officiate in the EFL1 & EFL2? The guy has got be be well above very good to be a FIFA ref. I bet you guys will be happier having him as man-in-black rather than Mr Kettle.
