Hard to tell on TV even. It might have come back to Fletcher off a Huddersfield player? A bit lucky to be given it tbh. Also looked like a foul in the build up by James. Would need to see it again really.
I thought the ref was erratic throughout the game. Both sides can probably feel aggrieved...
I've said many times that I don't want Carlisle to go down. But that time specifically, and immediately after a frustrating Wrexham loss in the BSM semi final, you went on the League one board to take the piss, and that annoyed me.
I don't want you or Tranmere to go down. I want Accrington...
Congratulations on the win on Thursday lads (I only just saw the result), sweet to do that to a local rival under your current circumstances.
Whatever happens looks like it'll be an exciting end to the season.
The reverse of last weekend, when results all went our way. Not a bad performance in a pretty even game. We probably shaded it but neither team did enough to win- we still look very toothless up front.
Charlton, Huddersfield and Stockport keeping the pressure on, damn them.
If it was our current first team you'd have had:
Longman instead of Barnett
Revan instead of Mendy (or McClean if fit)
O'Connell instead on Scarr
James instead of Evans
Rathbone instead of Ashfield
Rodriguez instead of Faal
Smith instead of Marriott
Also Okonkwo has been easing back in since...
Should have been a lot more comfortable than it was. Particularly with the wind to our backs in the second half. We seemed to ease off them a bit after Cleworths goal.
Still, a decent win and a much more assured performance than we gave second half against Orient.
