I agree but it's happened so often to us recently it's ridiculous. You get the odd bad refereeing performance, which we can accept. What I can't accept is game changing decisions that are so obviously wrong to everyone else in the world except the officials.
People say it evens itself out...
There's clearly some lies going on here but I'm certain Moore is telling the truth.
The Bradford one, where the linesman puts his flag up, what sort of miscommunication can there be? He thought it was offside. So all it takes is for the ref to walk up to him and ask 'was it offside?'
The...
Yep. Wimbledon were awful tonight and deserved to get beat. They're very solid in defence though. They were, however, very fortunate to get away with that tonight. They offered nothing. Home form will keep them in it, but away from home they look a different team.
We've had a meet the manager tonight at the club. This was a direct quote from Moore:
"DM (on officials): We’ve spoken to PGMOL about the Bromley & Bradford incidents (the ghost goal & offside). Allegedly Bradford was down to miscommunication between ref & linesman.
Bromley - the ref didn’t...
London away day all day for me. I went to Barnet's old ground but it was a hole. Went past the new ground on the train not long ago and it looks a smart setup.
Structurally not that different. We've given away fans the worst end now, but they have made a bit of a fan zone for away fans. There's been lots of work in the last 5 years to tart it up but it's an old ground, so there's still bits that are tired. Great scoreboard though!
The Bradford and Wimbledon fans on here seem the most chipper and confident, which suggests to me that they feel pretty assured about finishing well. Wimbledon comfortably one of the strongest teams we have played this season.
The other times we have played Salford this season, they've looked shite. Looked like a season of struggle for them after we comfortably beat them on the opening day. Obviously they've picked up again since then but they've only won 1 of their last 7, so not in great form. We just need to win...
At this point, it's virtually impossible to call. Each team in the top 8 could probably make a case for finishing in the top 3. Nobody seems in stinking form and there's 4 or 5 in excellent form.
I think Walsall did enough in the 1st half of the season to have one of the places sewn up. They...
I think so unfortunately, as I'd prefer some of the other teams with pathetic support to go down. But you're simply not picking up the odd win here and there.
Yeah, it feels a bit silly that we've arranged 8 games in March. As with Notts on Thursday, it feels like we have to keep winning to stay in touch. As always, I'd much rather have points on the board than games in hand. If we can get past Tranmere and be virtually level with 3rd, we've got a...
Good set of results really for us. Wimbledon will get 1 of the 3 auto spots, Walsall have only got to pick up the odd result here and there, so we're playing for the 3rd spot to be honest. Newport are dreadful, as are Gillingham, so 2 draws is a good outcome. Donny look like they've started...
