  1. The Jovial Forester

    Tuesday 28th November

I was thinking you looked like a pub team with all your fat lads but unfortunately it was us played like one.
  2. The Jovial Forester

Sill y red card. We're not going to score one let alone three

    Beaten all ends up.
  4. The Jovial Forester

    Tuesday 28th November

We've got nothing on the bench to change it bar the slightly bigger centre backs who should have started given your front line. Bit late for them.
  5. The Jovial Forester

    Tuesday 28th November

Poor from us all round and Bradford got just the right players to bully our flappers. Stood around to watch the corner get headed back across then stonewall pen having given the ball away just before and left JMT to flap. Barely registered a shot and the crowd looks barely a thousand. Happy days.

A finger of foam is just enough to give Carlisle a treat.
  7. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

At the time I thought maybe ref thinks it was ball to hand as it's clearly stuck out there, but he's a couple of yards away and it looks worse on the replay. Some suggestion one of our other lads was in the ref's line of sight because it is stonewall. he came over as quite the po-faced PE...
  8. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

We had a bright start but did nothing with it while it briefly lasted. Could do without Troy moaning at Omotoye all the time too, can't be helping.
  9. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

Second half scrappy, Walsall the better of the two sides but neither really pushing for the win. Did need another good Belshaw save, their keeper had a few easier things to stop. Bit of handbags over nothing around full time was about the most lively it got.

Stickied League 2 Away Support Thread 2024/25

182 Rovers at ye olde Poundland I think they announced, though might have been 187.
  11. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

Started bright but didn't make much of the chances, Omotoye a bit off it and Deeney letting him know which can't help. And he missed a good headed chance himself. Then Walsall grew into it and came close a couple of times, one took a great save from Belshaw. Also had a strong pen shout waved...
  12. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

Starting today, was suspended last time for cards accumulated. been excellent pretty much, real notch above in terms of quality, only held back by playing for us.
  13. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 25th November

So again we're above our opponents in the form table, which seems odd as we remain pretty shit. Would be nice if our league position edged a bit closer to twelfth but suspect it'll depended on whether Walsall have a mare as we'll just do the same old.
  14. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Wish Omotoye got more of the rub of the green though
  15. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Course if Troy wasn't suspended we'd have won that seven four :box:
  16. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Scoreline not an unreasonable reflection of two poor to middling teams but no excuse for chucking away such a good position. Grimsby did look the more likely to snatch a winner at the end though we did have the one golden chance we fluffed.
  17. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Horrible error from Welch and another good finish. Argh
  18. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Dabo should have done better but he's buried that. Flapping arseholes ahoy!
  19. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Understand Grimsby have been better second half often this season and with the wind a big factor not counting any chickens here, as no-one who's watched us defend would ever do.
  20. The Jovial Forester

    Saturday 18th November

Not the score I was expecting when Pike waltzed the length of the pitch and had a good go early doors.
