Stones take on Solihull in front of the BT Sport cameras at The Vale, off the back of a drubbing at Torquay. Do we have bouncebackability? Big test for us. Hopefully roared on by a decent crowd taking advantage of our £5 ticket offer for all age groups except u14s who go FREE. UTS.

Woking was actually 380 scanned through the turnstiles. Sold 400 but not all of them turned up. Southend is correct.

2019/20 shan off the gaffa race

Not sure TK sees Brennan as a manager at this level now. In fact given what went on at the Stones with him last season, I would tend to agree with him. Out of the frying pan etc with DB..

Nor long distance weekend fixtures either it would seem. 57 at Grimsby?

Stones have sold around 180 tickets for Notts County away tonight, allocation has just been increased again and will probably be close to 200 by kick off. UTS.

Woking - 7/10 - a game of 2 halves. All over us 1st half, they were clinging on 2nd half. But they have recruited well. Chesterfield - 8/10 - closed us down all the park, work rate was superb. Looked strong, quick, physical. Good bet for promotion. Southend - 5/10 - Ordinary. Here for the long...

A part time club away from home against the league leaders digging in to defend a one goal lead. Who would have thought it eh?

    Stickied Confirmed Signings 2024/25

Perhaps it wasn't Brennan who had the black book when he took over at the Stones?

Fully fit, a great goalkeeper albeit untested at this level. That said, it does seem that Brennan and Kewell's recruitment is pretty lazy. How many players have they signed that have played for them before? I get that happens at lower levels, but shouldn't happen to that extent at this level.

National League Fixtures - 30 and 31 August

Stones 0-0 Southend. Terrific point for us, not to mention performance. Lack of a cutting edge up top the only reason why we're not celebrating 3 points this evening as Southend were there for the taking. Alot of work to do this week to get those critical signings in sooner rather than later...

Match Day National League fixtures August 28

Yes I went and yes of course, you were the better side. But in terms of time on the ball, Stones dominated. Possession of course means nothing if you don't turn it into goals, of course it doesn't mean we were the better team and doesn't mean we deserved to win. You were far more effective when...

Match Day National League fixtures August 28

Alot of work going on behind the scenes to strengthen in attacking positions. The NL stats make interesting reading. We had 55% possession yesterday and 9 shots v 7 for Chesterfield. So technically our manager was right in his post match interview when he said we dominated the game. We had 67%...

There was never any intention to cap the number of adult tickets Southend sold (for example). We just gave them a mix of adult, child and concession tickets as requested and enough to ensure they didn't run out in any category, and they then decided to publish exactly how many of each type they...

National League opening day fixtures - 21/08

Lost 1-2. Woking the better side first half and took a 2-0 lead at the break. But all Stones in the 2nd 45 mins. Woking barely got out of their half as we pinned them in and moved the ball really well. Josh Umerah got us back into it and we had more than enough chances to equalise, however a...

They've amended it now. Your club wanted to sell them directly to you, they made the request. You need to ask them why they didnt sell them online.
