Dan Potts released by Charlton, having played just 3 times since signing in the summer. Surprised its not worked out for him there. What's the story? Injuries taken their toll?
A guy whose lad is in the youth team posts on our forum. Apparently in a few hours of training on Friday, Collins had over 50 shots, put one wide and the keepers only saved a few.
Scored one today with a very composed chipped finish and very nearly had a second, and he only came on at 65mins.
We once had a "striker" called Gavin McCallum, who demanded we recruit a sprint coach for him. Unsurprisingly, this was in the season we got relegated to the Conference.
People always say no-one wants to come to Lincoln as it's in the middle of nowhere, but then housing is cheap, so maybe it's not as unattractive as I thought
As someone with are mates there, I fully agree Bristol is a brilliant place. Only other UK city I think I would want to live in outside of London. Though not sure all the cider and weed is conducive to being a professional footballer.
Just learnt he's Jarnail Singh's son. Not at all surprising he was totally useless. Completely lost control of the game at the half hour mark and it spiralled from there.
A shame to fail when we had started the day in the playoffs, but ultimately we've run out of gas with too many injuries. Mandroîu missing the penalty was the turning point. Never expected to get this far give our start to the season under Kennedy.
Portsmouth utterly shameful in their time...
I get that, but the average weekly wage for L1 last year according to Kieran Maguire was £3600 per week. Appreciate that will be skewed by eg. Derby, Sheff Wed and Ipswich, but if you can't live in Britsol on say £2.5k a week (£10k a month, so £6.3k after tax) then you need some help with...
Not necessarily. If Barnsley lose, as they have done on a regular basis lately, and one of Lincoln or Oxford fails to win, Blackpool will make the playoffs with a win at Reading.
Tricky still, with Reading's home record, but not "incredibly unlikely" in my opinion.
Oh, I know that, but I had a feeling he was quite pro-Brexit and then complained when it made his life out there a bit harder. Might be mis-rememebring, in which case I apologise. Good to hear "honest" John is still doing well, anyway. Hope he's kept his nose clean since his little slap on the...
I reckon they have 5 - there's another one mentioned further down who's out of contract. Crazy unless a couple are academy players. We've got 3 and one of them is out on loan.
Just looked and Reading have 5 keepers, all senior players (aged 21-35). 2 out on loan but still...no wonder you've got...
Ground that one out despite the best efforts of the ref. We had a few pretty good chances. Freddie had two, O'Connor a free header at the back post from a corner and Taylor as well. Jensen made a couple of decent saves but Oxford, for all their good wing play, offered relatively little by way of...
