    Match Day Saturday 1st April

Unbelievable victory, may not have much effect in the grand scheme of things but Housham has done brilliantly this season

    April

Sadly I think if that is to come it wont be for a very long time. Owner has been wanting to sell for the last 3 years and quite rightly nobody wants to buy a club where the income is low and expenditure is high due to the level we play at. Been a great ride but ultimately I can see next season...

    April

5 First team players now out for rest of season and Rory Watson aka one of the reasons why we have got as many points as we do has just been recalled by Scunthorpe the shithouses. Think our points total will stay as it is now.

    The 2016/17 Promotion Thread

I think Milwall are the team to watch out for at the playoffs, as last season showed. I think Sheff Utd / Bolton top 2 then Milwall going up via playoffs

Match Day March 11th National League proper fixtures

Some big games down at the bottom. Bromley in terrible form but not taking anything for granted, would be nice to record 3 wins in a row in this league

Ferriby have been great at getting results at teams around them / in the relegation scrap. The downside is that points from any one else is rare (apart from Gateshead)

After last nights results I think its nailed on for Ferriby York and southport. Conference North is looking rather exciting next year though. If the Worcester get relegated and Kidderminster promoted the travel costs Brackley/Gloucester will be a joke. Adding the potential for Blyth and...

I think theyve been forced to scramble around for funding improvements to be allowed to stay in the conf south. Ferriby's doesnt look too bad in comparison! Then again if they got promotion doesnt that act as a loophole and give them another year to get it up to standard of the division they...

Fair enough, didnt know that, in the modern game as we know it though I'd say it was highly unlikely.

    Bradford v MK Dons (Tuesday)

I think it has something to do with the drainage underneath the pitch. They previous owners spent money trying to rectify it but I heard something this season saying the work that was done didnt work properly. Its a shame as the football being played this season deserves a nice pitch, whereas...

I think because this league more than any shows that if you aren't going to spend the money to get into league football then you wont get league football. A part time club is not going to get promoted from this divison. (unless im wrong but I dont think a part time club has ever gotten promoted...

Maybe after Eastwood Town they thought it was a bit of a pointless rule to enforce. What exactly is the issue if a clubs ground isnt certain size. Why should a team like Guiseley or Solihull have to take an unnecessary financial hit to bring a stadium up to a certain capacity they wouldnt fill...

Just saw this retweeted by the club on twitter, probably sheds a bit more light on the situation by someone in the know "Against this backdrop sits the elephant in the room, the FA Ground Grading. Regardless of the players heroics on the field, the ultimate battle may well be one they simply...

I think the club doesnt have enough seating or turnstiles either. Theres no chance for upgrades to be done, I can't see them finding space to add another 1300 capacity and the owners are putting next to no money in so arent going to spend anything making the stadium any better.

Looking at the rules for ground regulation, are these actually enforced? Ferriby were in the conf north for 3 years and never had enough for a grade B ground never mind a grade A. Oxford City/ Whitehawk dont have a grade B and they have never been threatened with relegation and theyve been in...

If that does happen and they finish outside the bottom 4 then I dont think anyone can say they didnt give it everything. Would be great for Housham and the squad to go down with their heads held high after this season.
