Stickied The Last Film You Saw Thread (& Discussion)

I really enjoyed Colossal. Something just totally different. Finally saw Justice League. You could really tell some of the shifts between directors, but overall it wasn't 'that' bad.

    Tunisia v England, 18th June, 7pm(GMT)

First half it was some of the best I’ve seen England play in years. Should have been out of sight before the equaliser. Then Tunisia shut up shop and switched to Rugby and it was hard to find a way through.

What are everyone’s favorite movie scenes?

I love this scene for the pure silliness of an intergalactic space battle being played out as the backdrop of someone looking for tape.

Just seen Solo. Thought it was ok. The 'reveal' at the end was a bit... Erm… Yeah. But overall it did the job.

    Freedom of Expression

In summary. Tommy Robinson broke the law and was given a suspended sentence. So he was told very clearly 'doing that is illegal, and if you do it again, you are going to go to jail for it. Don't do it again.' So he did it again.

He seems fine directly afterwards. If he was shaken so much that it would have made him lose all his composure, he should have stayed down and got the physio on.

Good to see more records being set. Most catastrophic fuck ups by a goalkeeper in a Champions League final.

    Congratulations Man City

I’m a bit slow to this realisation, but a Liverpool fan desperately attempting to be pithily dismissive of a side setting record after record while their player is being deified for breaking one, is quite amusing. Anyway... Most players from one club at a World Cup... *ambles off, whistling*

Talking about football on a football messageboard. The horror. The record for the most bitter set of bastards on the planet seems to be up for grabs on here. Meanwhile, http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11679/11376375/pep-guardiola-signs-new-three-year-deal-at-manchester-city

It was ever thus. If you weren't in the top four, you didn't get picked.

It’s quite funny this. So many ‘you are ignoring posts by this member’ notifications. Another record. City were only behind in PL games for 153 minutes this season.

    Congratulations Man City

Posted that too early. One thing that stood out was the squad values at the bottom end. The cheapest was Hull at £17m. Stoke, the first team to go down this season, have players who cost that much and a squad value similar to the City one that had some Mail reporter spluttering into his...

    Congratulations Man City

A rather meaningless graphon it’s own as it also takes in a period of time where transfer fees have increased in general. I found an old article from 10 years ago where there were pearls being clutched at the ridiculous squad values. Chelsea’s was the highest about £220m and City’s was 160m. For...

It’s automatic for anyone with five appearances, but clubs get 40 and can give them out as they see fit.
