First game of the season for me. Conteh likely to be on international duty which is a huge inconvenience.
I must’ve done Bradford away 10 times now and I can’t remember a win, although the recent games have all been very entertaining. Really hoping Eisa continues this complete fluke of a start...
If we were a racehorse you’d say our form has worked out pretty well. Fared okay in all league games and all of those sides have had very good starts.
We looked decent enough today but Mansfield looked very dangerous, the Holohan challenge was a red for me, he had no reason to go down. Can’t...
Hearing our victory is subject to investigation due to Bradford fans alerting the FA to the fact Eisa is shite and couldn’t possibly have scored twice last night
He’s done pretty much nothing since the broken leg and Peterborough clearly had buyers remorse after seeing him play in January. Yes he had an excellent record in NL but 500k on him is mental given his recent record.
If Wimbledon are a good side then I’ll be less disappointed than I currently am. The disappointment comes from the fact the performance mirrored loads of others last season, yet all our new signings looked very good.
All can change, but we’ve failed to address our biggest issue from last season...
We look very tidy but without much cutting edge which basically describes us last season but with better players. Each signing looks like they’ve improved us, especially Conteh and Rodgers, Conteh especially I can’t believe we’ve managed to sign.
Genuine question, what is Wrexhams long term transfer strategy? I’m presuming the idea is to just sign the best players available, not worry about sell on potential because the commercial side will cover it all?
Really looking forward to seeing us in action, I’ve not felt this positive about a season in years so it’s all set up to be a disappointing defeat and being sent hurtling back down to earth.
We’ve got what looks like a very tough start based on early season predictions as well as a few injuries...
