Just the three games tonight:
Solihull Moors v Chesterfield
Stockport County v Eastleigh
Weymouth v Yeovil Town
A massive game for us - at least it would be if fans were allowed in. Weymouth V Yeovil is historically a big local derby with Police escorts for the away fans and the occasional...
This is arguably the biggest match in Yeovil's history as if we don't win we could be relegated tomorrow.
Four fit/not blackballed defenders isn't a good start and i'm not confident of a clean sheet, so we need to score goals...which we're not good at. 3 in the last 8 games in fact.
One can...
Show us your club's amazing (for whatever reason) stats this season.
I'll throw a couple of ours out there.
Between all of them our central midfielders have scored a total of one goal this season.
Our goalkeeper has more assists than five of our midfielders. He has one assist.
We've made this game even bigger than it already was due to our ineptitude in recent games. Sessi is suspended for 2 games because he got his 10th booking of the season on Tuesday and Rhys Browne is out with a hammy. Some rejigging required but Way doesn't know how to do that effectively so...
The start of a massive few days for us playing the two teams directly above and below us in the table.
I predict Tuesday's game won't be a classic, with both teams nervous and not wanting to lose.
A poor 1-1.
I'm not expecting much of a return from this game for obvious reasons. The next two games against Vale and Macc are far more important but it would be nice to put in a good performance against the Imps and hopefully boost our confidence further after two wins on the bounce.
It's no coincidence...
Hallelujah and praise the Lord, our shitshow of a board and owners are selling up! An American consortium are set to takeover and it could be completed this week. I am cautious obviously but they can't be worse than what we currnetly have. Only problem is they've apparently been backing Darren...
Bit of a crucial game for both sides this, but then I suppose every game is crucial given the positions we both find ourselves in.
After an encouraging (and unexpected) win at Mansfield last weekend hopefully we'll gain confidence and maybe even register only out second home win in 11 months...
We should be fresh as it's just a tiny hop up the motorways for us this weekend, only the 11 hour, 540 miles round trip compared to the 13 hours, 660 miles jaunt last Saturday.
Buoyed by a 96th minute deflected free kick winner and a clean sheet we'll hope to kickstart another good run of...
It's that time of year again when about 50 hardy souls make the 650 mile round trip to deepest darkest Cumbria.
The club are giving our fans a pie and a pint voucher which is the least they could do.
As for the game it's away which is a good start. We've got a decent record this season away...
i'm not confident about us getting anything from this game. A 400+ mile round trip on a Tuesday night with several key players injured after roughhouse tactics from our last couple of opponents.
I'd be delighted to get a point but I think it's more likely to be 2-0 Col U.
We've scored 11 and conceded 0 in our last 3 away games, however we've lost and scraped a draw in our last 2 at home.
Away is the new home this season so fingers crossed we can make it 4 in a row and get back to winning ways.
The bad news is we'll be without Diallang Jaiyesimi and Omar Sowumni...
One of our board of directors has resigned and in the process issued a very frank and forthright statement. Damning is not the word.
Main points in summary:
1. The Chairman and rest of the board repeatedly bare-faced lied earlier this year that there was no consortium trying to buy the club...
Who knows what Yeovil team will turn up on Saturday? I doubt Darren Way knows.
Stuart Nelson, who we brought in as cover when Artur Krysiak was injured for the rest of the season, is now injure for the rest of the season. That leaves Johnny Maddison as our only proper keeper with coach Steve...
Rather than concentrate on not getting relegated, we're already looking at what kit to wear next season.
Like this season it's a fans vote. Here's a link to the choices - the best thing about all three is THE STARS HAVE GONE!! :brill...
These are our average attendances since we entered the football league in 2003. It's frightening how far they have fallen in recent years and this season is a joke. I know dropping down a league or two is pretty much always going to cause a drop in gates but it's also what you get for having a...
