What's the best goal you remember being scored AGAINST your team.
Mine is this one from 2002 by Muzzy Izzett for Leicester City. Caught it sweet as a nut and even most of the Grimsby fans applauded it.
Just seen that the last (and only time) time we won at Walsall in the league was 1897!!!
Certainly time to set that record straight.
Following on from our last 45 minutes in the league against Port Vale I'm fairly confident we might finally end that hoodoo.
Town to win 1-0 with a late goal...
A new penalty shoot-out system to be trialed in the EFL this coming season.

A quick chance to bounce back after Saturdays non-performance at Morecambe. MB has hinted at a few changes but whoever plays need to perform far better than we did on Saurday.
Anyway Col U are above us in the table so we usually beat teams above us and just lose to the ones below us.
Another...
Wrexham Fans 1 Humberside Police 0
Well done to the father and son who complained. It's about time somebody did something about the police seemingly wanting to treat all football fans as criminals...
So, Marcus Bignot is the latest person to become odds on favourite to take our vacant managerial position.
Not sure if Gods Gift has heard any whispers as he often seems too. Wouldn't really be that upset if he was appointed. A good young up and coming manager and has done a great job at...
And no team has won both games which is quite unusual. I know it's far too early to form any real opinions yet but just thought I'd give a few thoughts.
Luton had a great win on the first day of the season but were held at home by Yeovil on Saturday in a game I'm sure most Luton fans would have...
So then, who's realised the glaring omissions made from their best albums. 2 immediately spring to mind for me. Now That's What I Call Quite Good by The Housemartins and Some Friendly, the debut album by The Charlatans. No doubt there'll be more as well.
Now the fixtures are out I'm looking to book trains to some of our first away games. Has anyone heard when BT Sport plan to announce their first batch of live games as I've been bitten a couple of times in the past when they've announced live games at short notice.
Apologies if there's already...
For those who are interested here's a list of total miles between grounds for each team this season. There may be a slight difference with different routes etc but it gives a rough idea of how far the dedicated "home based" fan will travel.
Torquay take over from Gateshead this season as the...
Before our home game against Eastleigh in March, a friend of mine Neil was filmed by another friend of mine Simon.
Fair play to Neil though, as he has now honoured the bet, the result of which is below.
We have our final team, clear winners in the last 3 slots with Jack Mackreth of Grimsby taking the right wing slot and Jon Parkin of Forest Green and John Akinde of Barnet clear winners in the forwards vote.
So our final team for 1FF CONFERENCE TEAM OF THE YEAR 2014/15 is....
GK - RHYS TAYLOR...
The team so far then is -
GK - RHYS TAYLOR (Macclesfield)
LB - LEE BROWN (Bristol Rovers)
CB - MANNY SMITH (Wrexham)
CB - TOM PARKES (Bristol Rovers)
RB - ANDY YIADOM (Barnet)
LM - JAI REASON (Eastleigh)
CM - LUKE YOUNG (Torquay)
CM - PAUL TURNBULL (Macclesfield)
I am heading down to Eastleigh...
Well the centre-midfield vote proved to be a very close thing although Luke Young of Torquay was the clear winner with 11 votes Paul Turnbull of Macclesfield and Luisma Villa of Barnet both tied for 2nd place with 5 votes each. I will therefore pass a deciding vote and will go for Turnbull who I...
Due to a Bristol Rovers fan voting for his own player the left win place goes to Jai Reason of Eastleigh.
Both Monkhouse and Reason received 3 votes each after Gas Goes Marching In's vote is declared void, but I vote for Reason to give him the place in the team.
GK - RHYS TAYLOR...
So our defence is complete.
GK - RHYS TAYLOR (Macclesfield)
LB - LEE BROWN (Bristol Rovers)
CB - MANNY SMITH (Wrexham)
CB - TOM PARKES (Bristol Rovers)
RB - ANDY YIADOM (Barnet)
Nominations for Left Winger. (1 nomination)
Voting closes 28th April 3pm
