It is getting that way, apart from a couple of class touches in our early games he's done nothing for us yet. He needs to concentrate on the football and not diving and/or having a go at the ref and live up to the reputation he came to us with.
How's your skipper, he appeared to land awkwardly in front of us and played the remaining minutes looking like he'd either broken his arm or damaged/dislocated his shoulder/collarbone?
Jim runs one of our fan buses. He collapsed in 'Spoons in Surbiton (he had not been drinking). It was over an hour before the Paramedics arrived and took him to Kingston Hospital where he was kept in for 'tests' etc for four nights. He was released yesterday (Saturday), unfortunately not in...
I wouldn't have minded if he had come back to us to strengthen our back four options, not sure why Shrewsbury released him but he was a solid defender, a good left foot and contributed with a number of goals as well.
He was like that with us until we put the young Callum Morton alongside him, the two of them fired us up into our eventual play off promotion win against Exeter 4-0 at Wembley. (I didn't need to put the last bit but....)
I did Newcastle from my home on a Tuesday night at a similar stage a couple of seasons ago, I got back an hour before I was due to start work the next morning...enjoy the fact that you are in the round, enjoy the experience and add it to your list of anecdotal 'battle honours'.
Probably not, but we don't willy wave like some over our away support. :bg:
We have our regulars (circa 400+) who attend the majority, with some more depending on the distance, new ground, weather and/or the train strikes...we might attract a few more if we are doing well, but it doesn't always...
4071 was the overall attendance but I haven't seen how many of us were there.
I believe that they did announce a figure over the PA but i couldn't understand it and it's not on either of the Offy sites?
Yes, acknowledged that we did it against you after we scored and when you suddenly became a different team going forward, it annoys and frustrates me as well.
Colchester were the same against us in the opening day, depending on whether they were behind or level, again frustrating but this is...
That's why it was good to watch the majority of the Womens Euro's, very little of the sh*thousery shenanigans or the rolling all over the floor when fouled.
