Recently I've received all manner of e-mails asking me to sponsor the forums, the forums themselves are plastered with appeals for money and investment, adverts splattered everywhere etc.
All whilst the forums consistently go offline and the person who ultimately holds all the keys continues to...
No.
It's just indicative of the absolute farce that is York City FC, there was never anybody else coming in, he's just a cheap option. Nothing is going to change as long as the ownership remains and the players milking this club dry leave, they'll probably just extend their contracts again though.
Good question, he has completely vanished and it's understandable he did explode online and, allegedly, received legal notice about it so his silence may be a combination of feeling hurt by the club he gave so much to and because he feels he has to be.
It's all a complete farce, the club is a...
I suppose the most important place to begin is really in the fallacy that the only reason we're not AFC York is due to Jason's generosity, it's a pervasive lie that extends inside and outside our fanbase. It was indeed a key facet of his campaign to get all the shares, the idea that we can't...
Just another placebo, fans will settle for a little while and get off the boards back but nothing is ever going to change until McGill goes. Even if we win the league by a record tally it won't change the toxic attitude towards supporters.
It makes us a joke of a team with players here to pick up the last lucrative pay packet they'll ever get as they make an embarrassment of our club one last time because they were handed ridiculous contracts after getting us relegated.
You don't need to be good to beat us.
The problem with...
As a neutral, that was one of the worst transfer windows in a long while, not sure this early finish has really improved anything. Usually it's quite exciting to watch but it's all been a bit dull.
We retained the manager who rewarded all his mates with bumper deals for getting us relegated, no we're stuck with it. Parkin is still going, but he scored more than enough last year to at least be fairly blameless.
He’s putting it in because he will eventually get it all back when Bootham Crescent is sold next year, that’s something he conveniently leaves out when he talks publicly about all the money he puts in. They’ve always been loans against the equity in the ground never donations.
We would be in...
I didn't win the Conference Sub-Forum's Most Pessimistic Poster most years for no reason ;).
But in all seriousness, we are shite. We're full time and were blowing out of our arses against part-time Chorley (no disrespect intended) after proclamaitions of "fittest in the league" and other...
We do, but the fact Heslop, Newton, Bencharif and co are still first team regulars with others on the bench says it all, we've never had the real clean out we needed, instead we've rewarded mediocrity.
Oh look. We lost. But its ok, the lads who got us relegated two seasons ago will click eventually, the huge contract extentions were totally justified based on an FA Trophy win.
