was that a strong Boreham Wood side? I don't even know..
Not against us going with a strong side again, having had midweek off and also not playing next Tuesday.
Parky's eyeing up the FA Trophy winners and 4-7th place league finish but bomb out of the play-offs combo, to get some sympathy if he's sent packing end of the season. Genius, really.
Tough to summarise after that ending..
Mullin's challenge did look like a red from where I was sat, high boot into the chest. Getting silly the amount of times we've had an early red this season now..
Thought we were brilliant for the rest of the game both defending and still managing to...
Yeah McAlinden was very good - interesting to see if he stays there short-term and Hosannah now faces a battle with RHJ for right back. Smith (I think?) the Grimsby right back really struggled to deal with McAlinden, and generally seemed nervous all game.
Good game. Good atmosphere
Grimsby pressured us really well opening 10 mins but after we weathered that we were well on top of rest of the half.
The second half was a lot more even. Looked like Lainton made a great save. We really should have added a second towards the end, that Cleworth...
Any win will do whilst we all wait to get the signings we're hoping for at some point this week.
I imagine it will be another pretty drab home performance (under huge home expectations) and it'll be a tight scoreline either way
It definitely feels like this now.. a bit of a power trip to be seen to be doing something different/more than England, with Drakeford also firing off shots at Boris in his press conferences.
And on the other hand if England announces restrictions we seem to soon follow to not seem daft or...
Pre-match didn't think we'd get anything from this. In recent seasons, it's been a rare occurrence we go away to a big side and win.
Saving grace is that's our last league game for a while so hopefully we have time to break our own transfer record a handful of times to bring in some more...
Have to see the replays but wasn't completely shocked to see a red. I was thinking yellow at the time.. and yes Moss did make a meal of it, but from my view the ball had gone and McAlinden has just gone through the back of him and it did look like he went leaning in with an elbow.
Haven't...
Yep complete idiots and this is why we can't have nice things!
No chance it'll be done again this season now. Obviously done to boost the crowd and get a fuller looking stadium for the big visit
Although I noticed despite being a "sell out" the Kop end section of the MRS was pretty empty, as...
The big shout for Hosannah.. I thought it looked like he took a dive.
It was basically a rinse and repeat of the second half performances at home to Woking and Dagenham, but this time we didn't hang on.
I actually thought he we looked a lot more solid defensively (maybe that was more Torquay...
Upon reflection I don't actually know if we did hugely improve the last 10 mins with our formation change - as our goal and other huge chance both came from the Tozer long throw actually coming off..
Last 10 mins are a bit of a blur with the goal, the long delay with the unfortunate...
Utterly dreadful showing for 80 mins until the formation change. A Tozer long throw finally pays dividends as well!
As EnglishRed mentions above, thank god we've got a prolonged break from the league now.. it's needed for sure, got this tough start of games out the way, and come back after a...
Oh we were utterly dreadful second half. Deserved win for County. How the hell Madden was allowed that much time for a free header for the equaliser..
Whitfield was causing us nightmares most of the second half as well
Midfield was back to being a big problem yet again
No idea how Dagenham didn't score one of those second half chances! Weston on the left wing caused us a lot of problems
First half definitely our best period of play this season
