Plymouth away for us. They weren’t very good at Gresty Rd last month, but seemed like Lowe changed alot to try and counter us and got it massively wrong. We’re on a decent run and haven’t in the league lost since losing at Accrington in November. I believe our squad should be stronger than it had been for a few weeks with players returning from isolating and No back from his 6 game ban.

We lost to Oxford 4-0 only a couple of games ago, so not looking forward to round 2, even with reinforcements.

Not sure how we are going to lineup we are so short of players, some of our fans have gone into meltdown with the sale of Whiteman. It will however be good to actually play a league game again. Swindon appear to have turned a corner so expecting a narrow defeat

Accrington away, they have a great home record and swept us aside with ease a few weeks ago, hoping for a better performance from the start

Our game v Oxford off due to a waterlogged pitch. Used to have one of the best pitches in the league but now because Curle has the team train on it all the time it’s one of the worst. Embarrassing.

Hoping to get back to winning ways against Pompey but it will be a tough one. We looked good for large parts in Tuesday's match at Hull and certainly were unlucky for it not to go to penalties. That said we have a problem defending from set pieces and our visitors will be looking to capitalise on this
Really would like to see Simon Wiles succeed along with Steve Macauley but its a results based business, very postive video from the Chairman in mid week, Covid aside the club is in very safe hands

Donny at home today. Should be a tough game but we'll be aided by Donny selling (i assume) their talisman.

Our victory at Ipswich was a huge surprise and the new loanees looked good. We still are missing probably 2 strikers, someone that can play off of the Pork Pie Pele (Pitman) would be good but having Scott Twine in the number 10 slot worked a treat against Ipswich.

I'll go for a draw. 1-1.

Defeat today and we might actually see the back of Lambert.

I imagine we'll manage to stumble our way to three points though, 1-2.

Definitely better - but from a dreadfully low starting point. Let’s see after another 3/4 games.

Woolfenden speaks out in mid week about the need to play to players strengths, finds himself on the bench today. Obviously no connection. #sopredictablelambert

Beyond bad decision. Offord is literally stood still with both feet planted on the floor. Plymouth been the better team though.

Excellent win at accrington, much better team in the 1st half and deserved the lead at ht, Accrington improved 2nd half but didnt really test our keeper until the last few mins, big shout for a pen in stoppage time for accy also

Better second half and 1-1 was probably a fair score line. Lowery made a difference when he came on. Still angry about the penalty decision though. Our unbeaten run is extended to 8 league games albeit a few too many draws recently.

We're so shit. Full strength side today.

Feel like filing a chargeback with my bank for the IFollow match pass.

I know to an outsider it will look like I'm being over critical as we're 4 points off 2nd with a game in hand but it's so frustrating to watch. Granted we play flowing attractive football but only in our own half. It's like our players are banned from entering the opponents final third.

Grim times.

Both teams could make a legitimate argument that they should have won. Penalty decision though was woeful. He gave it so quickly as well, he was so sure of the decision. Just rank bad refereeing.

A note on the keeper. I don’t for a second think Dave Richards is the long term answer, but I was happy with his performance today. WJ in goal would have been catastrophic today.

Another gem from Sheridan’s presser.

‘It was an even game until they scored’.

Donny scored in the 5th minute! He’s a fucking useless clown.

We aren’t easy on the eye but another dogged win. I thought Swindon stood off us too much and didn’t press enough

Happy enough with that - we were nowhere near our best for the first hour or so but it was only a shocking refereeing decision that stopped us from winning in the end.

this game followed the pattern of virtually all of our games. On first half performance we are top of the league. On second half performance we are bottom of the league.

Like many other games we dominated in the first half refused to take our chances and bury the oppo. then come out a different team in the second half and the oppo gratefully take the opportunity we have unnecessarily given them. Rince and repeat.

To be fair the saves our keeper made in the first half were fairly straight forward. Plus we had one golden chance and 2 decent chances. So whilst you were the better team 1st half we should not have been dead and buried.

Every shot was pretty much down Richards’ throat.

We were just poor. I won’t complain about the penalty, defending was terrible in the build up which gave the Plymouth guy the invite to go down. Glimpses in the second half that made us the better team but some way off being good enough.

Dread to think what your reaction would have been had WJ been in net today. Calling for a knighthood, no doubt.
