Should Should out-of sight here.
1-0 up. Palmer missed a sitter. McClean hit the post. Cannon can roll mullin in for a easy finish but ended up crawling around on the floor instead somehow.
Most comfortable we've been away this season but only 1-0 and they can't be that bad 2nd half surely. Might regret missing this chances
Said everyone the past few weeks.

Trust me, that was the best performance in 4/5 weeks

Yeah we should be more than one up really. Still, not a bad half. Hopefully will have the wind behind us second half too?

Also, nice to see that as bad as Bristol are their fans are still taking the time to call us the worst team they've seen for weeks. All is as it should be.

You absolutely are. Birmingham, Orient, Barnsley & Blackpool all were better.

Not sure why you feel the need to be offended by that, you’ll win by 3 goals anyway

I'm not offended. Its just that we've had those comments every single game it's just funny. Apparently we should be favourites for relegation going on how opposition fans see us.

The conditions today are never going to produce good football.

It’s not even about the football, you’re giving us far too much time and space on the ball. Thankfully for you we’re absolutely embarrassing so we don’t know what to do with it. All the other teams, we couldn’t even get near their half

All change again for us at Wigan, not all that surprising, apart from bringing in Jamal Blackman in on a short term deal and goes straight into the team. Savin not even on the bench, although his confidence is totally shot

And that is exactly why Wrexham are the worst team we’ve faced in weeks.

Just like Cambridge game

Can't kill teams off, 1 chance and a goal for them

Absolute robbery, we were atrocious yet again until we scored. 1st shot on target in 6 games.

As I said earlier, Wrexham are the worst team we’ve faced in weeks. The fact that we could have won that in the end was ridiculous. You can tell they have some decent players and are clearly a gelled unit, but from what I’ve seen they’re miles off pace to the other top teams.

Fair play on the fan numbers though. Superb support for a long journey on TV with an early kick off.

Gifted them a point, crazy. Dreadful side that lot but we thought it was all too easy, bad mistake by Barnett and the one chance they have all game and it's in.

We're desperate for a striker who can score.

Be out the top 4 by new year. Likes of Stockport closing in. No goalscorer in January. No playoffs.

If we can stop gifting goals to relegation fodder with penalties and mad individual errors in the last minute we'll be fine. Third time this season now and 6 points thrown away.

Parky knows we're not ready to go up, not his first rodeo. All of the other top sides in the league win that 4-0 or 5-0 today.

Wrexham not much cop, agree with Gassy the worst team we've played in ages. If they played any other team in L1 away today, they would have been in real trouble

How many do you want today?

Every week someone says some comments of how bad they are, but the have absolutely no idea that we’re fucking dog shit.

Every game 30% possession and we’ve had 3 shots in the last 5 games. Not even shots on target, shots ffs

More even today, 49% v 51% Possession and 1 v 2 shots on target :bg:

Stockport County.
Wrexham fans on one hand being touchy about other fans saying they're not impressed with them when they play them yet on the other hand they revel in their ability to nick tight games that they haven't, by their own admission, deserved to win. Can't have it both ways.

Wrexham are a good solid side that keep games tight and have some very good individual players who can turn those tight games into wins. They're not a slick unit that outclass teams though. That will be reflected in oppo opinions.

Pretty sure they'll be in the play-offs which would be a good season.

Second half we absolutely were one of the worst teams on the league. Utter dogs**t performance against the worst team I've seen this year. No idea why our away performances are so poor.

I can't believe how poor Reading were. Before the game I said I would be surprised if we kept a clean sheet. I thought they would be dodgy at the back, but attack with pace and cause us issues. They were absolutely woeful, worst team I've seen this season.

We started with right intention with pressing high up and scored a deserved goal. Reading offered nothing except for a potential pen that wasn't given. Their player was rightly sent off before the break, and second half carried on the same way, think we hit the post 3 times?

Reading had their first effort on goal after 92 mins. They travelled in very good numbers but they are in for a torrid 2nd half to the season if they carry on like that, did Knibbs even touch the ball all game?

We won't have an easier game this season, just what we needed before the Christmas rush.

Exactly what I was saying on ours and this forum, Wrexham gave us too much time on the ball and stood off us. Every time Wrexham pressed us we capitulated and they almost scored.

Apart from the goal, most of their chances came from delusional defending, I’m amazed they didn’t work it out. Every other team in recent weeks has and hence why like the Wrexham fan said, other top teams would have won that 4/5-0.

They didn’t and are their own worst enemy today.

Even their goal came from delusional defending. Good through ball but how many defensive players did we have on the pitch and none within 5 yards of Lee

Agree, although it was very nicely worked. The other chances (that I can remember) was hitting the post - which was an over hit cross that Wilson somehow got lost on, any competent CB heads that all day long. The other was the miss in the opening 5 minutes and everything else was long distance if I recall?

Orient could have won 8-0 and we couldn’t have complained tbh

Yeah Griffiths didn't have much to do in all honesty. Any competent team would have won that today.

Any idea what happened at the end? Of course that gobshite McLean got involved having been nowhere near the incident

Was via Sky today as I’m in Croatia over Xmas and turned it off as soon as the whistle went

Kicked right off must have been at least 6 players from each side involved, hard to see what triggered it though

Christmas miracle at Sixfields. Not only have we scored in the first half but we’ve got 3. More first half goals this game than in the whole rest of the season combined. Northampton have been really poor but this is the best attacking performance by us this season by a mile

Well we have been terrible but not helped by now having all of our regular centre backs injured, with Crama hobbling off.
But we won't score so well done Crawley

Is Woods going to get his 2nd successive red card at Burton? (already on a yellow)
His sending off for us there last season pretty much ended Bartons reign, so we should be grateful for that i guess
