I wasn't sure where to put this but special guest at our match with Crawley Town today is this poor little lad Sam Addison who sadly has a level 4 inoperable brain tumour, I don't mind admitting I cried when I read this so I thought I would put this on the League 2 forum as there seems to be some really good people on here.
His family has set up a gofundme page to make as many memories as possible with him so the link is here for anybody feeling generous to give him some great times to enjoy before he sadly passes away.
Thanks.

Fair play to Grimsby for inviting the poor lad i hope Sam has a wonderful day. Reminds me of Bradley the Sunderland fan who has struck up an amazing friendship with Jemaine Defoe his illness sadly is terminal as well. Hop[e Grimsby win today just for Sam bless him.

Stories make this make me realise how lucky I am. I too was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2008 but thankfully after 7 operations over the following 3 years they have managed to remove it completely even though they had to remove part of my skull to do so, which I have to live with now but I am still here and my heart goes out to this poor lad.

I'm fine now thanks, apart from the dent in my skull. All my MRI's have shown all clear since. Unfortunately it doesn't look like the future will be as bright for poor young Sam.
