Looking forward to this. Should be a good test of both sides as long as the weather holds off.

Never seen Grimsby play before, indeed never been to Grimsby (though I did meet Austin Mitchell several times!).

Hoping for 9,000 plus crowd. How many do you think you will bring?

We tend to be better away but I'll be surprised if we pick anything up here. We're a work in progress at the minute, manager will be trying new things. Maybe something will click. If he plays Vose and Bogle plays well, we might have a chance.

Well that was fucking dire.

Grimsby were poor but we were absolutely awful. Worst performance of the season with ease. No one had a good game and our play was disjointed without Spencer up top doing the link up play. It seemed our players had weights strapped to their boots being slow to turn and woeful first touches.

It wasn't a 3-0 game, but then again neither was the Luton one on the opening day. 2 goals from set pieces and a McCormick error proving the difference. Grimsby have enough about them going forward to worry teams, but at the back look very fragile but for a few superb last ditch challenges.

Never mind, onto the next one.

Side note: I was disappointed to only see one inflatable fish among the Grimsby faithful. Decent enough turnout from them and they at least looked like they were having a good time, even if most of the noise they were making was getting lost in the wind as it seemed from where I was sat.

Oh and thanks Exeter you cocks.

Disagree with PG, Grimsby played well, we played badly. There is a correlation between these two facts.

First time I have ever seen the mannequin during a game - what was Luke thinking?

We were all over the plaice, got battered and handed in our chips.

Thank god for beer!

...........and the noise your lot made got even more lost in the wind! Too blowy for the blow ups today.

Strange how most posters on PASOTI reckon we were the best team seen at HP this season and played well.

A touch of sour grapes methinks.

Just saying the game how I saw it chaps. The fact that we didn't manage to score against a side with obvious defensive frailties just emphasises how piss poor we were today.

Congrats of course to Grimsby on the 3 points, they were there for the taking today.

6 clean sheets in the last 9 emphasises how piss poor your analysis was today. ;)

Yup, and 5 away clean sheets on the bounce (in the league), can't remember when we last did that.

Mmm, you might just be nicely getting your act together. Whichever ever way you look at 3-0 away at the top team is pretty good going, and a victory for a Northern team. Enjoy your Sunday GTFCfish !

Have to mention Marcus Bignot's interview after the game. Music to the ears. I wondered why Vose and Browne have been left out - now its clear why, he wasn't happy with the way they had trained last week. Clear that he has a really strong work ethic and if players aren't prepared to put in the hard yards they won't get in the team. Mentioned the fans a few times in the interview and the importance for them seeing that, win, draw, lose all the players have put in the hard yards...

Did you listen to that live? Still not been put onto the Mariners Player and it's not in the BBC report, either.
