Home to Posh for us, 12.30pm KO on Sky.

They've not played for 3 weeks so the first and last 15 minutes will probably be an indicator of how that's impacted them.

Appleton is back training today but we'll have 'a number' of players and staff missing tomorrow due to positive Covid results. Pretty sure on is Harry Anderson who started feeling unwell last weekend.

No ideal obviously but with Shrewsbury seemingly suffering worse than us, I don't think we'll play next weekend anyway.

Will wait to see who are our Covid players before making a prediction, assuming Harry Anderson is one which is a shame. Tough game tomorrow against Vengence FC, the one where the crowd would have been well up for this one.

Gonna be a few weather PPs tomorrow. -3 in Rochdale at 9am, and not getting above freezing till midday. No idea about Rochdale’s pitch, but if that were the situation in Crewe there would be a 0% chance of the game going ahead.

I was just looking at the weather, I think the chances of the game going ahead are very slim.

Swindon at home for us. First game since the 15th December. Break came at a good time for us. A few winnable games before 8 midweek games in a row. 2-0 home win

Frost covers have been on the pitch most of the week - should hopefully be OK.

Sears, Norwood & Downes all getting close to fitness for a start now.

Live on Sky and we got that 16 game without a win on Sky off our backs earlier this season.

Nothing but a win will do. 2-0

Looks like it’s not gone below -1 in Rochdale. So looks like we’ll get a game. Happy days!

Looks like we've lost - Walsh, Anderson, Hopper and Archibald to Covid for today's game against Posh, the first three are all starters. At least we have our manager back!

Imps 1 - 1 Posh

Poor first half with schoolboy defending to gift posh the lead. We were much better 2nd half and frustrating not to get the 3 points. Grant was unfortunately excellent on TV despite the pen miss, Scully getting better and Rogers looks a player. Bridcutt should have been sent off for the numerous fouls he gave away and since coming back from injury he's looked short of his best. Missed Hopper and without another central striker Johnson wasn't able to get us up the pitch particularly in the first half.

We take a point which keeps the points column moving.

Was expecting Peterborough to go an dominate the game after the opening 15/20 minutes. However they really did create very little, did Palmer have a save to make? Not much impact from Dembele.

No denying we should have won and looked far more threatening 2nd half - even before Peterborough went down to 10 men. Grant and Scully did very well, Bridcutt somehow stayed on the pitch despite persistent fouls when on a yellow.

Portsmouth still by far the best team to come here.

If there is a worse keeper in the FL than Crewe’s, then I feel very sorry for that club.

3-3. We need a new keeper. He was shit anyway, but he’s getting worse and worse. But unfortunately he’s got his enablers, much like Donald Trump has his enablers in the White House. Absolutely shambolic goalkeeper. Worst 1st choice we’ve had in my lifetime (30 years).

Will definitely cost us two points there. He was also lucky he didn’t cost us more. Chalk and cheese when you look at the two keepers today, despite conceding 3 the Dale keeper made some good saves.

Very strange game with two teams playing some good football. I thought we were good first half but 3-0 definitely flattered us, our football was very clinical, then probably even more so second half with them no way was that a 3-0 half of football. Shows how far we have come though over the last 4 years since Dave has been in charge. We’re disappointed at a point away from home whilst we’re sat 9th in league one and 8 or 9 games unbeaten.

That club is probably Wigan. We had Jones on loan a few years ago, he was dreadful and doesn't seem to have improved. Having said that, with the goalies the other way round, Crewe would have won easily...

Well refereed, too - common sense over the rescinded "penalty", which blatantly wasn't (and none of the Crewe players originally appealed for.)

Great game to watch, fair result in the end.

Swindon ahead and good value. Nothing else to add at the moment really.

It’s chalk and cheese every week with the keepers. There have been so many games (Ipswich, Gillingham etc) where I have thought if they had our keeper we would have won that. Yet his enablers in the club (led by Fred Barber who, and I quote “thinks he will be better than his dad”) and the nonsense spouted on social media and especially on that new podcast defending him, allow him to get away with it. I think it’s no exaggeration to say we would be in the play off mix with a competent keeper. He couldn’t even bounce the ball to himself today without dropping it!

Also, when was the last time he made a genuine save? Not a routine save, but a genuine save where you say fair play? From memory, I reckon Doncaster in October.

He made an excellent save from Baah just before we equalised, to be fair.

Funny old game today... we looked absolutely hopeless in the first half, without deserving to be 3-0 down, whilst we looked much better after the break without really deserving to win the half by 3 goals.

The penalty that the referee gave (before being overruled by his assistant) would have been one of the worst refereeing blunders I've ever seen.

The jury is still very much out on BBM and his style of playing especially at home, where every team knows they must press us and we will make mistakes. Still feel that we will go down; mainly due to our home form. One win in 14 games this season at home in all competitions.

Right about the penalty though. Never a penalty. Although strange to drop ball it to the keeper.

We’re making Swindon look like Barcelona whilst we once again look like we’ve just met each other for the first time. Worldie of a strike though

You’ve just reminded me that there is one person that is even more useless than our keeper. Paul Lambert, for avoidance of doubt.

Signs of hope there. Get a decent striker in and we could be OK.

Twine goal was insane!

Very welcome 3 points away to Ipswich. Thought we played well first half and deserved to lead 1-0 at the break.

Ipswich started the second half well and when we gifted them the equaliser I thought they would go and take all the points. A Scott Twine worldy at exactly the right time when Ipswich's tails were up was exactly what was needed and then Jayesimi with his second looked to he secured the points. Judge made it 3-2 with minutes remaining and then my stream went kaput. However we held out for 3 massive points.

I think Ipswich at times looked very dangerous, Judge and Norwood seemed to work well in tandem and everyone seems comfortable on the ball. Get a competent manager in and they'll be there or there abouts this season.

That was a usual game for us. You looked a cut above the dross we usually beat so I think you’ll be fine this season. The new additions for you worked instantly. Absolutely, injuries or not any competent manager would have us in the top 3 or at the very least a basic pattern of play.
