Start of a massive week for notts away at an accrington team who are in mixed form. 6 new signings (if you include Nolan) made over the last couple of days, well needed given the lack of squad depth. Nolan has done a remarkable job with the team within such a short space of time.

Buzzing for this game, going for 0-1 Notts win (Forte).

After such a positive week a defeat at Stanley would be a major kick in the whatsits.
I would be happy for a point just to keep things ticking over but I do think even though we have only just won our first game for ages we could win here.
A lot depends and relies on how well and how good the new players are and get going.

I'll go for a 2-1 Notts win.

Accy were comprehensively better than us when we last played. We need the points here to give us some breathing space and keep pace. Feb is a big month where we basically play the sides in and around the relegation zone. Need to be at it.

Nolan has a big decision to make around playing his new signings or keeping a winning team

1 - 1

Not sure it would be a 'surprise' - we've lost 11 of our last 13 or something, we're definitely beatable.

Shola Amiobi signs and is on the bench.

Can we just forcibly retire Jon Stead?

Whats the Adam Campbell stuff I keep seeing being alluded to?

It was a huge relief to see us win at home in the league for the first time since Ocober - however I thought County played better than a number of teams who've beaten us in that time. I think Kevin Nolan will do well there.
Both scorers today were recent loan additions - I'm hoping with them on board we can start to pull away from the relegation zone.

Pleased you won mate, what is the biggest reason for the massive turnaround from last season, when you were 60 seconds or so from winning promotion to league 1 ?

Mainly our best players leaving and the replacements not being up to the same standard. The biggest losses were Piero Mingoia to Cambridge and Josh Windass/Matt Crooks to Rangers. We had some very good loan players at the back end of last season too.
This season Billy Kee has been out of form too at not at full fitness - he was amazing last season.

With doing so well last season the expectation levels have risen especially among fans that have only recently started going - therefore, in their opinion, anything outside of the play-offs is not acceptable and we should be beating so and so.... Most fans accept it will take a few seasons to rebuild and have faith Coleman can do it again

We played some neat stuff on the ball but never really matched the intensity and physicality of you lot. Thought you deserved the win although it may have been different had Stead scored that sitter at 0-0.

Nolan had to give the existing team some rope after they played relatively well last week but hanging themselves with it was predictable. I'd expect wholesale changes now with most of the new signings coming in.
