This should be quite an entertaining game.

Crewe’s home form is isn’t scintillating but it’s often difficult to tell without actually watching (I haven’t surprisingly), perhaps it’s just luck isn’t on their side at the moment? Saying that most Crewe fans would’ve expected to be further up the table after 11 games I suspect.

Stevenage have had a good start to the season, personally I didn’t expect them to be doing this well. I had expectations that we'd be lower half and playing pretty crap, there's plenty of time yet though.
We have won 3 away games so far, Barnet, Cheltenham & Carlisle. Carlisle was 2 absolute howlers by their keeper to gift us the win.
We do have a couple of first-team absentees this weekend, both Kennedy and Van Cooten are away on International call-ups, Gorman would be as well if he wasn’t suspended.

Prediction : 1 -1 draw (entertaing though!)

After five defeats on the trot (six if you include that thing on Tuesday), at a stage where it's hard to see how we're ever going to win again.

Why we've only scored 2 in the last six with the likes of Dagnall and Porter up front is scandalous, not even having a shot on target against Coventry. Artell is slowly entering borrowed time, I'm yet to be convinced the players have bought into his management. We just need a flukey 1-0 win with a goal off Ng's backside and go from there.

Crewe 0 - Stevenage *insert any number but with a minimum of 1 here.

Genuinely can't be arsed watching us fanny about and pass it to Stevenage players with our backs to goal on the 18 yard box today, only to be counter attacked and dealt with swiftly.

On the pitch today if we have a shot on target.

Surprised Porter isn't doing it for you yet, when he was at Colchester he was a bit of a nemesis for Boro. Good news for us is we have scored in all league games we have played this season,

So glad we won that today, mainly due to the antics of Stevenage, don't think I've seen anything so anti football in my life.

We've lost 6 games in a row, don't score goals and we're ridiculously low on confidence today, yet Stevenage had no intentions to try and win today.

1st half I thought we were decent and should have ahead after a minute when Dagnall got in but his finish was poor. Stevenage got themselves a soft penalty, I can see why the ref gave as there was a bit of a tug, but if you give that you could give about 5 a game. Poor penalty though, straight at the keeper. A few horrid challenges though, could have had a few more booked in my eyes.

2nd half Stevenage sat back even more, took their strikers off and really settled for a 0-0. Lots of time wasting aswell. We huffed and puffed and didn't create alot. But eventually a decent ball in and Bowery did fantastic to turn and finish. Not celebrated a goal like that for a while, mainly as Stevenage got everything they deserved.

That win felt great, I hate playing Stevenage, delighted we got what we deserved today for our endeavours up against a shocking referee and a very limited football side. God knows how they are where they are, pitiful all over the pitch. Had we been able to hit a cows arse with a banjo for the previous 93 minutes it would've been a very one-sided scoreline. But that's why we are where we are.

Penalty was a foul but thought it was outside the box, fair play to Trigger for saving it and also Trigger launching that free kick into the box which kickstarted the move for the goal as well, if Garratt took that it'd have been straight to Pickering and crossed to nowhere.

Made up for Bowery, gets a lot of unjust criticism but he tries to make things happen and took his chance fantastically. My man of the match today along with Richards. Cooper with a vastly improved performance too which is what he's badly needed after a stale September. Brilliant win and hopefully it'll be enough to kickstart our season but we've still got 2 more bogey teams to play in our next 2 games first.

Massive win that, shaped by 2 massive moments at both ends. I would have taken a 0-0 at 93 minutes, but so pleased how we kept pushing for the winner. As above, we got what we deserved for pushing and Stevenage got what they deserved for playing for a point. 4th in the league, having won 3 on the spin against a team that has lost 6 in a row and not scored many and thats the tactic? Shameful. Antics were horrible.

Strong performance today, restricted them to very little and had enough chances to win it, especially early on. Needed a scrappy one to go in like it did as you could see there was still a lack of confidence going forward. Needs to be the season changing moment this, not just a flash in the pan. Chuffed with the win, really enjoyed that late goal.

Fair play we lost, wasn't there today but on the radio it sounded like a pretty crap game with chances for both sides few and far between. It did sound like the Trevor Kettle show, especially the last 20 mins of the 1st half.

Onwards to Luton next week, today is one to forget about for us as quick as possible.

Thank christ for that. A 1-0 win with a 94th min from Bowery is as good as one off Ngs backside. Hopefully the end of that shitty run.
