Stage set for a bit of a boxing day ding dong, with both teams firmly ensconced in mid-table. HG has already said that we'll get thrashed here because reasons. We might, it would be just like us to put in a shit-show after scoring 7 in the last two home-games, having previously scored none in five. Fatty might just hold the hoodoo over his old club though, and I honestly would be surprised if there isn't some kind of altercation between him and the Oldham fans at some point. I'm sure they'll know how short his fuse is and will be looking to wind him up.

Not sure about thrashed, but I thought we’d get the result at Crawley then fuck up in this match. Narrow defeat I reckon but a lacklustre performance leavinn the whole place flat and everyone pissed off.

Talk about against the run of play! We must improve if we’re to hold this. Shocking so far despite leading

Weird half. We’re 2 up through 2 chances, the 2nd was a quality piece of football, but it’s been a sloppy performance where we’ve been second best. They’ve been on top, not through being too good but just look the more fresher, closing us down and winning most 50:50’s. Next goal crucial, if they get it they’ll go on to equalise or possibly win. We need to slow the game down second half and retain the ball better in our own half.

6 nil and Bennett still doesn't get a taste of the action, never mind getting his name on the score sheet. I think I'm no longer interested in swapping Jabo for him anymore.

Seriously though, that's one terrific result and hopefully HG will no longer feel the need to remind us all poor sods in the relegation thread that his lot are crap and can go down

I don't think HG is that happy with the result because in the whole match we had 7 shots on target and we only scored 6 and Oldham had more possession than us.

So not the best of days for us Vanni and I can't blame him.

I’m happy, because we started shit, were on the back foot a bit, but got through it and produced great football on the counter for some of the goals and grew into the game. Ruthless we were today

Gotta hand it to you. You've been saying all season how clinical we are up front, and today we've really seen just how right you are.

Odd one that. Nearly doubled our away goals conceded for the season!

Was a strange game, as the second half kicked off, I started the stopwatch on my phone, feeling I'd be checking it nervously as full time approached. We never really looked comfortable until we scored the third and Oldham crumbled but then we defended deep and counterattacked, which makes sense when you have slow defenders and fast forwards. Felt for the Oldham fans, who made a lot of noise, even when 5-0 down, and were badly let down by their players today. It wasn't a bad performance from them particularly, they just lacked composure at the ends of the pitch where it matters.

Bull shit.
We’ve been anything but clinical this season. Utterly toothless we’ve been up until the last few weeks.

It’s funny that we’re less wasteful now Richie Bennett is no where to be seen. I don’t mind taking credit for calling out how shit he was after about 2 appearances but no way have I been saying how clinical we are up front, because we simply haven’t been up until recently

Just scrolling down the page and quickly scanning the last couple of posts about us by HG and I see words like "We started shit" and "Utterly toothless".

Nothing ever changes with him even when we win 6-0.

If you’d bother to read, the utterly toothless comment wasn’t describing today you nit, it was about us earlier in the season.

And we did start the game shit.

Sheridan’s post match interview “we were poor for large spells of the first half. Even at 2-0 I thought we werent doing things right and were showing signs of buckling”

Lumsdon on Radio post match “We started the game sloppy”

2 people who saw it how I did. One happens to be our manager and the othe an ex player.

I’m just saying what happened in the match. Winning 6-0 doesn’t change the fact we were poor in the opening stages of the game. Stop being a fucking clown.

Clown?

Come and say that to my face!

Do you want to meet me outside the ground this Saturday HG?

You can fight as long as there's no concrete? What kind of tinpot judge granted that condition?

He misunderstood. He’s actually banned from setting foot in concrete (the club) but carver thinks it means he can fight if it’s not on concrete.

I've got a super hard punch in my armoury that could send a man flying, so it would be dangerous for me to knock someone out on a hard floor, it could kill em you know.
