Imps at Shrewsbury. Been there already once this year and played them off the park, and hoping for more of the same. One win should basically secure us a playoff place, and (by some accounts) they're on the beach now.

We lost to Hull at the weekend, but didn't disgrace ourselves and should be able to continue with gradually reintroducing some of our many injured parties. Hoping to continue the good recent form (Saturday excepted).

Charlton away tonight. We look well and truly on the beach, Bermuda shorts on, beer in hand the lot. So I’m expecting a hammering tonight, as this is a big game for Charlton tonight.

Fortunate that Crewe ain’t much good because we’ve been hopeless.

Have to hope we can hold on and that Accrington don’t fold.

Shrews 0 - 1 Imps

Fairly dominant display although Shrews have had two great chances with Vela hitting the post via a deflection and firing wide when he should be scoring.

Imps started well although didn't get that second goal which will be needed.

Johnson went off injured which is a worry when we're trying to get players back fit. Shrews also trying their best to kick lumps out of Jorge Grant so I'd be tempted to bring him off.

Bottled it.

Didn’t even deserve a point so whatever.

Looking forward to clearing out 99% of this squad in the summer.

I suppose when you've been very sound defensively for most of the season, there is always the likelehood of a tonkin. Tonight it happened with Burton scoring 3 goals of real quality, in fact they were belters. No complaints, we were soundly beaten and plenty of food for thought for the management. Jimmy Floyd has certainly worked wonders since he took over !

Been wondering why Charlton fans have been so critical. I can see why now. You were very poor.

As for Crewe. Threw away 3 points for the zillionth time this season.

From hero to villain for Marquis...

Close for those play off spots.

Doesn't seem like much really happened in the game tonight. Another 1-0 win, minutes into Grant, Bridcutt and Hopper but Johnson off injured, which is hopefully just precautionary.

Just a point needed for the PO's and that's assuming Charlton win their final three games, one of which is against us next Tuesday.

Was certainly an open game. And in the second half you played well. Just one of those nights I guess.

A wild night on the play-off fringes. Blackpool are looking good for a play-off place now with Northampton, Donny and Bristol Rovers left to play. Two wins will seal it, but four points may well be enough.

Pompey and Charlton both suffered late, late equalisers. Neither deserved three points anyway by all accounts. This means that Oxford are still definitely in the hunt - two wins against Shrewsbury and Burton may well be good enough given the quality and form of us and the Addicks.

We've got Wimbledon (A) and Accrington (H) left. Two wins will likely be enough given Charlton's last three games - Accrington (A), Lincoln (H) and Hull (H). I'm just not sure we are capable of that, especially given that Wimbledon still need a point on Saturday to be safe.

Last night the Cowleys were really scraping the bottom of the barrel having to throw on Charlie Daniels and Paul Downing who shouldn't be anywhere near the pitch, really. The one bright spot is that Marquis may have finally got his confidence back in our second half comeback. It really feels like the Cowleys are squeezing everything they can out of this squad making five subs in the second half.

Yes, that's what the Cowleys bring: they'll get the absolute maximum out of the squad they have. I think they're less good at making players better.

I don't know, players improved here individually - Toffolo and Raggett are two examples. Other players improvements did come as a consequence of the system they were in, which played to their strengths.

A surprisingly good performance that should have merited 3 points but yet somehow nearly got 0, up until a 90+6 minute goal going in our favour for once. Charlton looked poor in truth. Scored a very good early on the with Stockley scoring with a diving header after a decent move, but after that I’m struggling to think of any other real moments of quality. As for us, we passed the ball really well, dominated possession, created chances. A few of our bigger players like Pickering and Wintle looked back to there best and showed why they will be in the championship last night.

Yeah saw that :fl:
I work with one and he was dead mardy this morning, apparently they're going hammer us on saturday...
I really do hope you lot can take it to the last game so we can score a 91st minute winner against them to send you up.
Well our squad is loads stronger now as all the covid and almost all the injuries have cleared in the last few weeks, so that's really helping us.
Much more like our old selves.
Bunch of mockneys!

No love lost here either, not won there since December 2006, time for that to change!
Fergie has a habit of bottling it so I hope you go at them because if you score first their heads will drop
