Big crowd expected for thus one, possibly a sellout. 2nd game this season for me after retuning from working overseas.

I predicted an Argyle loss for this one. Hope I am wrong

Here we go again!

Pompey away form patchy and we keep finding ways to win it seems. I'm going to have some money on Argyle at a decent price I think.

How are Pompey ticket sales going? Looking forward to the F*ked up at Wembley chants.

How are Pompey ticket sales going?

We've sold our allocation of 1500.

How are home sales going? Post above suggests well. Unless you're expecting a sell out, seems odd that you haven't offered more? Our support seems to be on the rise this season and see no reason why we couldn't have shifted another 500 odd.

PUNCH in the face for the first person to mention the 'D' word in this fixture which is separated by 170 miles.

on another note Bradley to score is a banker. used to back Bradley 1-0 every week so would be rude not to wack a quid on it Saturday

Bradley wasn't great for us, was he? Has the physical attributes to do well but no football brain whatsoever. Hopefully Conor and co. can take advantage of that.

I know there has been a lot of talk from our end about revenge but this is a massive game for us. Lose and the title is pretty much gone already but win and we're right back in it.

I've got no idea how this one is going to go. I'm more confident after our comfortable win at Orient last week but we've yet to beat a proper decent team this season. I'm looking forward to it.

Bradley has been class for us. The ball just seems to fly to his head. Set up a couple goals with his long balls from the back. Think he's matured since he was with you guys, been signing of the summer so far. Looking forward to it. Would take a point but a win would be fantastic

Strange you've only been given 1500 then, normally the away team allocation is 2000. I'm 95% sure it won't be a sellout so don't see why they wouldn't give you the other 500. Unless it's police advice being over sensitive again!

Unfortunately I can't make the game this weekend but Radio Devon will be on! I'm going for 2-1 Argyle or a 1-1. Both teams to score in my acca!

Difficult one to call this. Argyle seem to have been 'winning ugly' recently, which is a great habit to get into. Bradley definitely must have matured since we saw him. He always looked the part physically, but would turn into a headless chicken when put under pressure.

Who knows which Pompey will turn up on Saturday. I still don't think Cook knows what his best team is yet. I'm not sure I understand why he's not starting Lalkovic more.

We've had some good....ahem... 'battles'... recently, with plenty of twists and turns so hoping for a good game. I worry that Adams maybe has the measure of Cook tactically so I'll be happy with a point from this one.

Shame we couldn't hold on to the win, but I'd have definitely taken a draw beforehand. And it sounded as if we were the better side in large parts too.

To be expected you selling out your allocation though what with this being a local derby like....... :animatedf:

Draw sounded like a fair result. One which both teams won't be unsatisfied with either.

Apparently Portsmouth have had a yellow card now 3 games in a row for simulation.... Ainsworth will be getting jealous of Cookie at this rate!

The yellow last week certainly wasn't a dive and should have been a penalty. I think today's may well have been the same from where I was standing, albeit I was a fair distance away.

Very annoying that we couldn't hold on to win as that really would have put us back in the race. Draw was probably fair in the end and hopefully we can win our next two games at home to Notts County and away at Cambridge to get a run going.

seems many plymouth fans with a decent view are saying there was contact and lucky not to have conceded a pen. including one of the local plymouth radio chaps. then the rest of the ground (probably with a shit view) have decided that chaplins a cheating wanker and that's all there is to it. would have taken a point If offered this morning but sounds like we were the better side overall.
just undone by our usual defending issues.

Heard from several sources that it was a penalty and the referee was a complete homer. Would have taken a point before and 4 points from the 2 aways is decent so can't complain tonight.

There were 3 occasions Chaplain could of had a pen possibly.. he broke clear of Bradley at one point, Songo'o got back and made the challenge, Mccormick laid on the ball and yet Sonny still grabbed Chaplain and chucked him to the floor. The next one was a dive IMO, I was sat the other side of the goal to it. Also, Pompey played a hopeless ball into our penalty area, nobody around Bradley nor Chaplain, the ball was always going to go over Chaplains head, and yet Bradley still pushed him in the back. Should of been a pen. Oh well, ref was shite for both sides and I think a draw is a fair result

I think Adams' analysis of the referee was fair. He wasn't poor per se, just inconsistent.

For example, he booked Songo for celebrating with the home fans, but he didn't book the Pompey player celebrating in front of the Devonport End. Either book both, or let both slide. Personally, I don't see the need to book either, but rules are rules.

I only saw it live, and haven't seen a replay, but I thought the referee got the dive correct. His head and arms went back and you could see he was looking to win a penalty. I'm happy to stand corrected on that if there's a video out there on it.

Any Pompey fans saying it was definitely a pen though have far better eye sight than I do. It would be like me saying their second didn't cross the line when I sit behind the opposite goal. The incident could have happened any further from the away fans.

I think the result was probably fair. Both teams have and will play better this season. Both looked eager to impress and at times made mistakes because of it. Given the league table it probably benefits us a little more than Pompey, but not many teams will get any points at Home Park season.

This is exactly the sort of game we would have lost last year. Sounds like Pompey played better but we have a point. Could not go, and amazingly Mrs took the boys, so had the odd situation of someone who has only been to about 5 Argyle games in all the years I have known her telling me about the game. From her expect eye we gave the ball away too much. My lads suggest that some of our stewards need to work on their speed when trying to apprehend slow moving pitch invaders! The nine year old referred to the crowd reaction at points as war without the weapons.
