'Enner Valencia sustained a deep laceration of his big toe on Tuesday evening in an accident at his home.

The No 31 trod on a piece of teacup, which he had dropped, and the resulting wound required emergency hospital treatment to clean and stitch the wound

"Enner has had an accident at home and has cut his big toe quite severely on a broken cup," said Big Sam. "It has been stitched."'

Alexis - Giroud - Walcott.

So excited to see how this works out. Oz, Alexis and Walcott in the same starting line-up.

Ramsey next to Coq too.

I really, really like our starting eleven apart from Chambers at RB.

Need 3 points today.

Didn't do a great job there, should have scored. Lovely touch from Giroud.

Should have been a penalty and a red card for Collins, already.

That was so nice. We've played well but we really should be winning by more.

Incredible goal. That's Wengerball.

This is the magic of Wenger. As long as the trajectory at Arsenal feels like it's upwards come the back end of the season he'll keep his job come the summer. He'll take you nowhere though.

Good win. Thought we overplayed it at times today and West Ham came out in the second half much better than us but we scored some great team goals. Giroud, Ramsey, Koscielny and Monreal were all very, very good today. Özil and Walcott both had strange games, got in good positions but had a poor end product, no idea why Özil chose to pass rather than shoot when he was clear in front of goal. Chambers looked ropey in the first half but got better as the match went on and was good going forward. Not too taxing a match ahead of Monaco.

Making goonerz cry
What is Ozil playing at with that pass. He actually cares more about an assist than he does a goal. Wenger would be very wise to tell him off for that....imagine if Arsenal dropped points today because of that?

I thought we were slightly unlucky as at 1-0 we had a number of chances which we wasted, admittedly Arsenal played class and we couldn't really deal with it.

Not sure I agree with that. You certainly had a few chances, but we'd created far more and I'd say better chances in the first 45.

I thought in terms of creativity that was best we've played in a while. Just a shame that a we seemed to collectively make the wrong choice when through on goal.

Our defence got better as the game went on, but I'm never confident when Monreal, Chambers and Mertesacker play in defence together. It means Kos is covering everyones lack of pace. West Ham got in behind with some very simple balls over the top.

Scored three lovely goals though. Ramsey looked like his old self today.
