Tough game and expect them to be physical.

Hope Harley is fit to play and would like Joel Grant to start against his old club.

I feel a 1-1 draw is on the cards.

I wouldn't say we're physical in the classic Stevenage style, but niggly and cynical yes. actually should be a decent game between 2 sides who've made a fair start, if you can stand the timewasting. Maybe if you can be ahead for, like 85 minutes, then we snatch a brace at the end, that would be the best for all parties - that way we wouldn't piss about so much, yeah?

Ainsworth has had a haircut this season  Rumour has it Paul Hayes will be in contention for this game not sure about Sam Wood though.good home record v the team with the best away record in The Football League last season and no defeats away yet this season, draw looks a good bet. 2-2 for me.

I really hope we get the first goal. Not sure how many more times I can watch Wycombe's anti-football.

1-1 draw I think.

Same team as last week so it looks like the diamond formation again, seems Ainsworth will be happy with a point.

Shocking, we were by far the better team.

First half was all us. We missed a couple great chances, had a stonewall penalty shout turned down and Wycombe should have been reduced to 9 men.

Second half we were punished from two mistakes.

Rubbish ref.

Tell me about it:ffs:
He w\as brilliant for us then moved to Yeovil where their fans rated him so what's happened to him? i thought he would be in the championship at least, only real problem he had was niggling in juries so maybe they've taken their toll on him.

to be fair, that was a shocking tackle from Bean, lucky to stay on the pitch.

I've seen players sent off for less i agree but claims we should have been down to 9 men and a stonewall penalty are absurd. Another very good defensive performance and 2 well taken goals. This is League 2 which is never pretty, if you want to see tippy tappy attacking football then watch Real Madrid or Barcelona. Every team in this division play to their strengths, is there a team in League 2 that constantly plays attacking football every game of the season? No!

Were you there? Obviously the Bean one is clear as day and with the ref having a clear, unobstructed view of the challenge, it's unbelievable that only a yellow card was given. The other incident was right on half time and Moore-Taylor was about to lash the ball into the net but was pulled back. Harder to spot due to the amount of bodies in the way perhaps but it was a penalty and with your lad denying a clear goal scoring opportunity then a red card again should have been handed out.

Not sure about your other point, flying in with potential leg breaking challenges isn't a team playing to their strengths. If the ref was half competent then we would have had a penalty, and Wycombe, 'playing to their strengths' would have been reduced to 9 which would have seen the game effectively over by half time. Fortunately for Wycombe they were let off the hook by our poor finishing, decision making and a woeful referee who got the big decisions wrong.

Echo what GOG has said. Bean's tackle was awful and he should have gone. Had a good view of the penalty shout and Moore-Taylor was definitely pulled back as he went to score.

However, we missed way too many chances. Wheeler and Grant had two golden opportunities and how Grant missed was a mystery. Also, Grant got some dogs abuse from sections of our crowd for his 'assist' for Wycombe's second goal. Hopefully he can turn things round.

Still, fair play to Wycombe who took both their goals well and they then defended well to restrict us to pot shots really.

We need to pick ourselves up and get a good performance at Portsmouth on Tuesday.

can't beat Cumbrian wit.

Anyway. What's the deal with Morrison, Exeter fans? He seems to have scored no goals since signing for you (at least according to Soccerbase), and whilst a forward's game can be about way more than scoring, that's a record that even the legendary Drewe Broughton would be wary of.

You have a good manager I'll give you that, but once he gets taken off you from a bigger club and believe me there are many more bigger than Wycombe in this league, your team will go back to being below average which is more like what Wycombe should be.
