Well we bow out the FL here with a day out in the capital so thought that was worth of it's own thread.

Obviously a massive game for Barnet and we will rock up with the pressure off and probably play a few players witha view towards next season.

New ground for me having been to Underhill 2 or 3 times. On the 7.41 train into St Pancras / King Cross with about 50 mates who all booked cheap trains when we thought we'd have something to play for. With the good weather i'd be suprised if more than half of us make the game but should be 7/800 travelling which is bloody good considering what state we are on.

Onwards and upwards, League Two it's been a pleasure but i've not idea when we will be back. Certainly a big summer ahead for us, especially off the pitch

Does anyone know definitively how many away seats we've allocated to Chesterfield? Looks from the online ticketing that it is the far end of the main stand and those blocks only hold 608. Not ideal if 7/800 turn up!

Really not looking forward to the tension tomorrow. You'd think we'd be used it now after all the practice we have had.

I thought away was massive to be honest so not even bothered getting ticket in advance, club have been pushing the fact it is pay on day and no price increase etc.

Of the 50/55 odd of us got I think only 6/7 actually have a ticket, apparently we've sold about 450 in advance

We usually give the stand behind the goal to the away fans which holds about 1800, but given the increased interest from home fans, that's been given over to us tomorrow. Having just checked now, we've taken a block behind the goal offline for ticket sales, and that would be the block nearest the away fans in the main stand, so maybe that's going to be available.

It's bad enough you've gone down, you don't need the hassle of not being able to get in on the day.

I hear that this match is being sponsored by the Grim Reaper.

Might be a blessing in disguise mate if it's anything like Forest Green away

If you’re going to go out may as well do it in style, we did the same when we went down as we had Dagenham - took 1100 down there and got trashed. Any excuse for a beer with the lads, right?

If Barnet win 8-0 then Morecambe need to win at Coventry.

Can see it now, last minute of stoppage time, Coventry and Morecambe have played out a 0-0 like anyone sensible would, and Barnet are 8 up and defending deep/timewasting etc, only for John Akinde to give away a last second pen and Kristian Dennis stick it away to send the away fans wild and take Barnet down with em. Could happen...

So here we are. Final meal has been taken (well liquid breakfast) and still we hope that governor's stay of execution call is about to come through.

Either ourselves or Morecambe are going to be very disappointed come five this evening, but both sets of fans if they are being honest will say that they haven't been unlucky in going down, should that fate befall them. Morecambe have manged in the space of three weeks to turn a 100/1 shot into an almost even money bet, and we waited until Spring before deciding that it might be nice to try and retain our league status.

Lots of factors are at play for our perilous position, part of which sits at the players doorstep, but you don't always get a chance to put things right and they have that chance today. Having been through this many times, what I hope for, apart from the obvious two results going our way, is that we put in a performance. We did that when we need the result previously against Rushden & Diamonds, Rochdale, Port Vale & Burton (we really have been here a lot). But on the flip side, we choked in the loser go down cup final against Torquay back in 2001.

Whatever happens, the journey today isn't going to pleasurable, and the best you can hope for is relief.

I think the block taken off sale is for pay on the day barnet fans, the rest of the north is almost full and no longer on sale.

If any away fans havent bought then I suggest theyget a ticket online before they go.
