Can't even begin to guess our line up, especially in midfield

£23 it's costing us for the away end. I know our seated away option is expensive too but at least we always offer the terrace option. Not even being offered by Barnet. Don't care about whatever policy they have about not opening the terrace unless they're expecting a certain sized away following. It's still a joke. We'll still take an alright number but certainly less than we would of.

With the game itself we'll probably lose as in contrast to recent seasons, our away form has been quite poor.

I agree with you, at the start of the season the price was £20 and they changed it a couple of games in. Add to that our terrace is £17 when open and there are seats for home fans @ £20 then it's well out of order.

It's against the rules to charge away fans more than home in the conference, if the away terrace is closed then the seats would need to be sold at the price of the home terrace and I hope they do the same in the league. I'm pretty disgusted that my club haven't at least kept with the 20's plenty campaign.

It's not brilliant but 'disgusted' is a bit OTT. London clubs nearly always charge more - £24 at Orient. It's just the way it is.

As usual I'm going to predict a sour loss.

Losses are usually sour aren't they?
There's only been a few examples of 'sweet' losses I can think of - our 1-0 loss to Brentford at Griffin Park in 08/09 is one I can think of.
Hopefully Akinde can keep up his hot streak of form and we can keep on scoring so that our ascent to mid-table mediocrity can continue!

I stand by my comment.
Closing the terrace that costs £17 and upping the cost of seating from £20 to £23 two months into the season is at best sharp practice.
There is no need to make the minimum charge for away fans more than the pay on the day cost for home support and our chairman has clearly taken the view that away support is there to be ripped off.

Doesn't sit well with me either.

If we are taking away the standing option (but making it available to home supporters) then we should only charge the price of standing for the seats for the away fans. I'm going in the stand for this game, and whilst £23 still seems excessive, I have made the choice to go there. I can't see how this practice is anything other than discrimination against the away supporters.

Goals in this one. 2-2.

Reckon we'll throw a lead away. It's what we do.

Isn't it £23 to pay on the day for the seats in the home end anyway?

£20 for the east stand. Up until the end Sept it was £20 for the two end blocks of the West stand but that was changed so away supporters could be charged more.

"nil point" for City here. We should win so we will inevitably lose.

And the decent vein of form continues...

Our away seats are better value than Borient at £24 (cans of beer from a bucket of water??) doesn't make it right that football costs that much mind.

Strange game, Exeter played some nice football but were so slow and didn't trouble us at all. It was like watching a team full of ray Wilkins. No attacking threat from them. Looked like decent numbers from Exeter but apart from moaning about the ref were pretty quiet as per the home fans.

Starting to find our feet now

Good result, cant say I enjoyed the performance.

Second half we just gave Exeter the ball. It's a good job they didn't know what to do with it.

Josh Clarke seems to be doing well? A couple of goals for him already.

What a great little player he is.

Pace in abundance, quality close control and has a good shot on him too.

Much prefer seeing him on the right wing than at right back where I felt he lacked physicality, especially in League 2.

Can we have him permanently please?

Three goals in four matches so far for us. And to think that a few "experts" on our forum were writing him off before he had kicked a ball for us.
Our shape was great while Dembele was on. After he had to go off, we handed the initiative to Exeter but luckily they were not incisive enough to do anything with it.

Typical shit from us. Fed up now. Worse performance of the season.

Never booed our players off the pitch, before today. So dejected.

Do you usually play this possession-based style of football? What I found was that you played at too slow a tempo to really expose us.

Yeah, we do. Sometimes it has some purpose but yesterday was an example of us having no clue what to do when we do have the ball. Tippy tappy, sideways passes when we need to be trying to score.

I was actually quite impressed with your passing...up until the final 3rd but we did defend pretty well tbf. If you do get a lead and pass it round like that then the chasing team wouldn't have a chance.

Having said that you clearly need some pace and direct attackers in the team. 1 or 2 loan signings and you could be a good team in my eyes.

Yeah, we missed Lee Holmes yesterday. Also didn't help that our usual plan of knocking it to Wheeler was brilliantly dealt with by your left sided defender who sat on him all game and didn't give him a sniff.

That was Dembele who is a centre back but was put on the left smartly by Allen yesterday and it definitely worked. I've never felt so confident with the few balls that were in the air (including the 15 corners you had!!) with those 3 centre backs who are all good in the air.
