Big game at the bottom tomorrow for both sides. We are getting results now but we can't lose this tomorrow or much of the last 5 games will be undone.

Fully expect us to get something out of this. We're without a keeper so have signed an emergency loan from Sheffield Wednesday after Anyon broke his arm midweek in that rubbish trophy. Could be a blessing in disguise potentially as he hasn't been great for us and if the young lad is better then obviously we're in a stronger place.

3-1 CFC, Dennis will be on the scoresheet I imagine. 4700 there with just over 3 figures (?) from Barnet?

Might hinge on how dodgy this loan stopper is. Still, I'd be disappointed if we don't win this. Dennis, Evo and Reed have all had a decent rest

It doesn't who plays in goal he won't be tested, even with Akinde starting today. We are even worse under McGhee than we were under Rossi.

We're going down, this game today will lend you 3 points towards your survival.

Has McGhee got a contract until the end of the season or is it a rolling one? If it's the former i'm afraid you're right mate Barnet are f*cked! Where i live most of my mates support Bristol Rovers and they can't believe any team has employed him.

Ouch, that's a sickener for Barnet. I'm at work so listened to the commo and used Barnet's commo, and ended feeling really sorry for the commentators! Seemed well balanced nice fellas and properly gutted at the end. No surprise, 90+min winners are gut wrenching.

I'll be honest, the whole time I was listening I was just thinking 'it's going to be one of those games' as we were making chances and finding ways to not score!

Unlucky guys, good luck for the rest of the season

What did I fucking say? McGhee is absolute dog turd.

I'd forgotten how depressing it is seeing your team lose week in, week out. Especially when it's about the 6th game this season that we've lost to an injury time goal. It's sickening.

It's about time we had one of these last minute goals.

Onwards and upwards.

Just sack this idiot already. He was brought in to steady the ship, has completely failed, and I wouldn't trust him to sort anything in the transfer window.

Nelson in as caretaker then bring in a known competent manager in January.

Totally agree, mate. It's all we've pretty much experienced in the last 18-24 months and it's horrible. maybe i'm too invested as after all, it's only football but having your weekend spoilt every week by your team gets very tiresome, very quickly.

Thankfully the shoe was on the other foot today and i'm so fucking happy/relieved it was. Not as good this afternoon as we have been in recent weeks but i thought overall we did enough to win the game. After i'd spent pretty much the whole game calling Weir out for being shit....he pops up and scores the winner, football can be enjoyable every now and again, it's nice to be reminded of it!

Jack continues to enhance his legendary status by the game.

Barnet weren't great and their tactics after the early goal out of nowhere meant they spent most of the game time wasting, rolling around the floor and lumping it far and wide in the hope that someone could get on the end of it. We weren't great but ground out a result and got a bit of luck which we have earned with all the late goals we've conceded this season.

The revival under Jack continues, this was a massive result albeit a poor performance

Cameron Dawson is highly rated here and played a few games last season, should do well for Chesterfield. How long is an emergency loan?

A month I think.

Apparently it was in the pipeline for January anyway so likely it will be extended, potentially until the end of the season. With Tommy Lee retiring and Anyon being out and, when he did play not impressing that much, it wouldnt suprise me to see him here longer term.

I always thought emergency loans were renewable after 7 days

This seems to be McGhee's MO. Couple that with the baffling team and formation selections and no wonder a few of us (myself included) think he should be immediately jettisoned.

Yeah I think that's how it works mate. Rolling in 7 day chunks until your injury situation has sorted itself
