We head off to Wimbledon on Friday, has to be another win simple as that. Wimbledon also need to win to keep their very slim hopes alive, so it should make for a good game. We should sell out, always an atmospheric little ground is the Poundshop Londis Super Saver Arena (or whatever they call Kingsmeadow these days).

2-1 Cobblers, Ricky Holmes to dazzle you.

Atmospheric? A morgue has more atmosphere at times.

I never make predictions but our home form is pretty good.

This will be a 1 all draw. Our playoff hopes are already finished and I fancy us one way or another to kill yours off as well.

That would be a first. He's been regularly falling over against us for 8 years now since he was at Chelmsford in the Isthmian Premier.

I take some hope in the fact that we cannot possibly be as bad again as we were at Sixfields earlier this season.

We don't really do draws. Couldn't tell you the last time we had one, maybe southend beginning of January ?

Our record against you is pretty good, don't think we have lost since you were promoted.

Going for a 0-2 away win, Holmes and d'ath. With burton and wycombe as our last 2 games we need to be in the playoffs before that time, although they could already be promoted by then.. Hopefully!

Accrington hadn't lost to us before this season.
Oxford had a 100% record against us before this season.

As some have said....our home form is good at the moment.
Bayo to have a quiet game, the return of Dannie Bulman to bolster the midfield and the Wombles to win by the odd goal, and remove another monkey from our backs.

Hard fought 2-1 home win.

RefWatch; Ref for Cobblers game is Chris Sarginson, from Staffs. FL ref for 6 years. Looks like Ian Hislop. A little bit. Reffed Wombles three times, all losses. 1-0 home loss to Gills in '12, 4-0 away thumping by Accies in '13 & 3-1 home loss to Carlisle in Jan. Reffed Cobblers 7 times (0-3-4). Ten games reffing both teams & no wins for either - nailed on draw. Hates the scum. Sent off Lewington a couple off weeks ago when they conceded a last minute winner. Fantastic. Top man. In 26 L2 games he has given 73 Y & 3 R - lowish.

If you've been allowed in the bars on past visits, then there shouldn't be a problem.
We've always been made more than welcome in the bar at your ground.

Other than that, the pubs in the immediate vicinity of the ground are a bit shit. You'd be better off drinking in Kingston or Wimbledon and getting train to Norbiton and walking the 15 minutes to the ground, or jumping on a 131 bus. You will have to pre buy a ticket (look for shops displaying the Oyster sign) as the buses no longer take cash in London. You can pay with a contactless card.

Another to add to the what might have been. If we had a little more quality we would be comfortably in play offs. However I suspect Northampton and another 5 sides could say the same. Entertaining game but at 2 nil up should kill it off.

When that second one dropped in boy did I go mental! Great day out really, great atmosphere, good fun in London before the game, and an entertaining game which probably had the right result.

Defensive lapses cost us but they also did Wimbledon. Could have won it late on if Cresswell had have gone for goal, got so much on the ball! Result doesn't do much for either team but win on Monday and we are still hanging on.

Wimbledon was a bit morgue like you're right all the Wombles fans who told me that, disappointed we didn't sell out by a handful but we certainly made up for the missing with noise. Another fun day eyt. Also had some good banter with Bayo and he rightly got a lot of love from the away end. UTC.

The ground has a poor atmosphere. I know you won't believe me but from the home end it looked and sounded like you had 150 odd singing while the rest stood on silence. On my terrace I could hear good noise from us. It just does not carry in the ground.

Entertaining game !!!! I thought it was dreadful for the first hour (when i could see) and only
after Dons scored did it liven up any.
Question for Meadow, Was that you honking the horn on our bus when everyone ignored your
request to use the crossing and just crossed in front of the coach?
Proper shit my pants i did :bg:

Nah, that was the coach driver. I did board three of the coaches to give directions though.
