Been to the Hive before to watch St Helens play against Broncos so looking forward to my first footballing visit there. Hope Akinde doesn't score against us as well!

Reckon we'll take around 400 - although without that netting that separates the away fans from home in the terrace like Underhill, I'm not quite sure what the wannabe hooligans will do all afternoon.

1-1.

Can't make this one unfortunately, but I have a feeling we may get a second consecutive win :2thumb:.

Off the high of last week I reckon we'll do it.

We need to play better than last weekend if we are going to get a result. Daggers maybe lower in the table but they surely cant be as bad as Stevenage were.
Mclean is looking better and better, Akinde is a handful (without scoring) and Gambin is causing teams trouble. The negatives are still lacking a creative spark in central midfield, we are on our fourth keeper already and defensively we switch off.

I've also been for rugby and I also think 1-1. Should be a good day though, pleased that you've Underhill for the Hive.

I actually thought we played well in the second half last week and if we go at D&R like that, we may well score a couple. The problem will be at the other end where we seem pretty hopeless...

A high scoring game awaits, probably 2-2 or something like that.

RefWatch; Ref for Barnet v Daggers game is Dean Whitestone, 40, a London based cop from Northampton. Had trials as a keeper & dad was a ref. Steve Evans hates him so he must be alright. FL ref since '06. Reffed Barnet 3 times; 2-1 win v Macc in '11, 0-0 draw with Millers in '12 & 2-1 loss away to Pilgrims in '13. Reffed Daggers 3 times, all away - 1-0 wins v Macc & Stevenage & 0-0 draw with Pilgrims. Home win % is just less than 50%. In 9 games this season he has given 26 Y & 2 R - lowish.
AnagramWatch; Dean Whitestone = We Shit On Da Teen. Into Washed Teen.

Looking forward to the tracksuit from Matalan derby. Aren't we officially Daggers biggest rivals or something?

again looking forward to this after last weeks second half. If we play that front 3, it gives our defence some cushion hopefully. Still can't work out why they're so crap this season. Dembele is great, hosted fast improving, ngala ok. Only Johnson is looking a weak link? Or perhaps that as a unit look so flat footed - even tho individually ok? Anyway 3-1 Bees - Akinde to get going at last!

I disagree about Johnson. Stevenage pumped long balls towards Whelpdale on the left wing all afternoon and apart from one slip I though he did ok. For me the weak link is N'Gala, for both Stevenage goals he lost his man and he really struggles to change direction when the defence is turned.
Away from home our problem seems to be the tactic of plying a high line with Stephens in goal. Crowcombe seems better suited to the sweeper\keeper concept

Well we really haven't had much to worry about so far. That's been by far the most comfortable half we've had in the league this season . Daggers are a seriously poor side on this showing, reminiscent of us st the start of 12/13 (Welcome back Luke O'Brien) and Luke Gambin and Elliot Johnson have the run of our left side.

We just had to much for Daggers. Gamblin tore them apart first half. Felt we didn't play as well once the game was won and started to give them a bit more space but generally I couldn't see us slipping up.

We were absolutely appalling. Disgusted with that. No effort or heart whatsoever. We are in serious trouble if that sort of showing continues.

Very pleased with today's result - scoring 3 goals in back-to-back games just goes to show that things are beginning to click at one end of the pitch.

Michael Gash - I've always rated his intelligent link-up play and it is good to see him adding more goals to his game.

Also pleasing to see Shomotun and Odofin on the bench, in that youth players are firmly in MA's way of thinking.

Onto the next one...
