If i were to pick a player for us to be in this then i would have gone for Pelly Ruddock who has been absolutely outstanding, I guess more competition for his spot in central midfield than Staceys right back hence why he didnt make it.

Not to say that Stacey hasnt been one of our better players, with all the calls for James Justin to get game time I think perhaps how good Stacey has been has gone a little unnoticed, consistently very good and one of the best athletes ive seen, the stamina on the guy with the stress our system puts on the fullbacks really is something to behold.

Of the others Clarke at Portsmouth was very impressive on the opening day, Maja scored a very nice goal against us and looks a decent prospect. Dembele is the best player I have seen this season, ran us ragged when we came up against Peterborough and suited their counter attacking style play perfectly.

I love this sort of thing. There will be plenty of grumblings about missing players.

From our perspective it's great to see three players in there. Clarke's selection is a no-brainer and he's destined to go on to better things, either with us or elsewhere. Great work by Kenny to bring in McGillivray and Brown this season. Two big problem positions from last season, solved.

Curtis and Lowe are probably victims of the 4-4-2 system shown here, but that would be getting greedy. Marquis and Maja is hard to disagree with.

Far too early to say whether that’s correct or not although makes sense that it mostly includes players near the top.

While we’ve played ok so far this season, the only player that could maybe feel aggrieved from our side is Lyle Taylor, the bloke is immense. Maja seems to score every week so couldn’t take him out and would probably be harsh on Marquis aswell.
