Instead of paying it back the money is turned into shares diluting the present holders %.
For the £5m you tax payer now owns 8% of Bolton valuing Bolton at Roughly £62m

Not at all, I wondered where we got all that money from this time last season to bring in the players we did.
Seems we have repeated the feat this January.
Seems the £5m does not need paying back unless the club is sold. Or should that be 8% of what the club goes for. Say we sell the club for £5m in 10 years time we would have to pay back 400k seems a fair deal.
