Although a Muntjac Deer smashed my bumper a few years ago, it jumped up and ran off - so I think it survived.
Biggest that I've killed with my own hands was a very tall cockerel. In my "Good Life" days, I'd decided it was giving our hens too much of a hard time and was for the pot. Once I had its feet in one hand and neck in the other, I discovered that the distance between the two was a comfortable 4 ft plus. In the end, a foot on the neck and strong pull did the job.
It was very tasty but I decided to lower my ambitions for self sufficiency and hatch no more eggs.
