Well we now only have one fit midfielder, rather ironically that man being George Thorne. That being so though, I can only see a struggle here. We might get a fourth draw in four, but Birmingham should be beating us in our current predicament.

Brum 1-0 Derby

Working till 7.30pm for this one unfortunately, my lad off to the game with his cousins though, poor thing has got the bug bad!!!

Blues have started the season relatively brightly, we've looked pretty solid and well organised if not a bit dodgy defending balls into the box.

From an outsider looking in Derby have had a bit of a stuttering start, I've no doubt they'll be up there at the end though, with that in mind if we take 2 points from Burnley away & Derby at home I'll be happy as Larry.

A lively 1-1 I predict.

2-0/2-2. If we click we'll get a point, if we don't.. We haven't got a midfield for a start so a steady home win.

That's an odd looking Derby lineup. Surely a central 2 of Thorne and Baird only works with an attacking midfielder rather than 2 up top? Your full backs will be busy as well!

Birmingham looking as though they can make things happen in the final third. Derby yet to get a foothold.

Yeah, it's been Derby's last 10 minutes. Ince thunders one against the post from 20yards.

Struck it clealy and got a little luck. Both sides have threatened throughout the half, very watchable.

More goals would be a safe bet IMO.

P.S - I know Derby are light in midfield, but they look so top heavy. Very attractive moving forward but they've looked pretty poor in midfield and at the back. Better strike forces than Brum will cause them even more problems than this.

No idea how Baird is a footballer, he was shit for Fulham and he looks shit for Derby.

Really like this Birmingham side, could be a dark horse this season.

You were asking about how we play, well it's similar to this Birmingham side. Very tough to break down and quick on the counter attack.

Think he's played alright to be honest, played a lovely ball to Ince earlier which he then fucked up.

I think that's his problem. He just makes too many mistakes that end up costing his team.

Please to be on target for my first ever prediction in the 1FF prediction league. :cool1:

Fair result in the end, plenty of chances for both sides, both sides looked vulnerable at the back for me, opened up a few too many terms, irrespective of the attacking options both sides had. Could have finished 4-4 as I jokingly predicted!

A least we're consistent :animatedf:

Only saw the last 30 mins, we seemed on top then but apart from 5 minutes we didn't threaten too badly. Defence looked a bit shaky but just ok, we keep letting them run and run and run though.

Gotta keep working to find the goals, not concerned yet and I'm confident we'll do well against Leeds. Formation looked good but a bit light in the middle, maybe expected with 4 injured centre mids. Not too bad but we do need a win somewhere, hopefully next week.
