Monday 24th October, Bury v Bolton Wanderers 7:45pm.

Bury welcome their historical rival Bolton Wanderers to Gigg Lane for their first league visit in 17 years. Bolton haven't beaten Bury at Gigg Lane since 1929, and we beat them last time they visited in '99 2-1!

Can't see this record standing for much longer though, Bolton have a far superior team to ours and a decent manager. 0-3 I fear and expect,

Parkinson doesn't 'do' big league games.

Bury, get that ball down on the floor, and win those second balls in midfield and you'll be just fine.

Honestly I wish I shared your optimism! We aren't a good side and Bolton have some quality players

I can't see any positive coming out of tonight. Just need some kind of performance and hopefully a result that doesn't end in total humiliation. Ugh here we go.

Not a penalty for me but there was a slight grab on the shirt.

Game and atmosphere has gone flat since then, Bolton will love that.

Danny Mayor has bulked up since he left us, decent player at this level it seems.

Can't blame players for cheating when we get refs like that. What's his name? I'll pray we never get him.
There's not many decent ones in this league tbf. Looking forward to Flitcroft throwing his toys out of the pram again though like he did against us.

I think that the standard has improved over the last couple of years. The only poor ref I have seen this season is Kettle and fortunately his performance didn't affect the result.

Abysmal performance that replays the second half of last season. No fight, no effort. Nothing. If Flicker can't get the team going for this sort of game plus Dale a week ago then we are in big trouble this season. Struggling to think where our next win is going to come from tbh.

Just a really bad day.

Terrible decisions by the referee. Though in fairness we didn't deserve anything, but to lose to not 1 but 2 dubious penalties is hard to take.

Kettle is shocking I agree, I've seen other ones this season that have been pretty terrible too though. It doesn't help with all the cheating and conning of officials that now happens though.

6 defeats in a row and it will be 7 next week mark my words.

Only positive is a crowd of 8,007, 4,800 home fans for Monday night sky game isn't bad for us. Didn't see any Bolton in Bury end either..

What was the attitude towards Flitcroft like? Does he have any support at all?

I don't think I'd want him to run the weekly raffle. He just seems completely delusional, like an unfunny David Brent.

1st Penalty not a penalty the 2nd one was. We deserved that win though and Bury didn't create anything. Flitcrofts tactics were woeful and I'll be surprised if he is still there after the weekend

Nobody is as bad as Garner at Preston though.

Just spotted this libellous post and I notice a Port Vale fan liked it  what an obsessive set of turds

Thought Bury looked poor last night. Gave the ball away far too easily and in a lot of dangerous areas as well.
Bolton are starting to show signs of being promotion contenders at this level, not that they had to be particularly good last night.

First penalty was soft but can see why it was given and 2nd one was a definite penalty.

Turds? Don't go overboard with the insults will you

I don't see what was libellous about the post you quoted anyway, looks pretty factual to me

Nothing libellous about it, he's by far the biggest cheat in the EFL.
