Giggs went for the job last time but didn't like the owners so guess its going to be Pardew.

From one manager who couldn't buy a win to another. I'd laugh my arse off if they bring Pardew in, you could pretty much lump on them going down.

Ehh, Pardew seems to have a good impact when he steps into a club, it's just afterwards that is the problem.

Contract to the end of the season with absolutely no option to renew under any circumstances, then.

If I was Swansea I'd be going for Gary Rowett, unfairly dismissed based on his returns, knowledge of the Championship etc if the worst happened, long term potential rather than short termism.

What an awful appointment that was. Listening to his American accent try to talk football was beyond embarrassing.

His post match interview probabaly sealed his fate, when you say words to the effect of "I don't know what to tell them anymore they just keep fucking up" you know it's all over.

Forgetting all the rights & wrongs with the takeover farce there have been so many footballing fuck ups from May onwards it's beyond pathetic. We were shite last season. Reason we were shite was down to the squad not being good enough. Our summer consisted of selling the stalwart captain without replacing his leadership, selling the top scorer from the season just gone, letting lots of fringe players go and in return we signed Llorente who is a 32 yr old has been who wasn't really anything anyway and some anonymous Borja chap. We turned what was a shite squad into something that can't really be described. Sacking a wily veteran coach for some bloke called Bob was a shitter too.

As for his replacement Pardew wouldn't be a bad option and anyone disagreeing can be proven wrong by his record. What's this Rowett geezer about, he seems flavour of the month, is he actually any good or another Karl Robinson type? No one else stands out as an obvious. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Jenkins sounded out either G Nev or Stevie G.

Rowett would be a solid option, he's succeeded in all his jobs thus far, was unfairly sacked at Birmingham after turning them around and laid the foundations for success at Burton Albion, has a reputation for being a more defensive minded coach but then stemming the constant stream of goals Swansea concede should be a priority anyway rather than worrying about doing it with flair. He's got Championship nous and knows the league beneath it too which would be invaluable should the worst happen, you'd be better suited to giving him a go knowing you could keep him next year if you went down rather than going for a last chance saloon gamble to stay up and inevitably be forced to recruit a new man with the know how in the division below without a real long term knowledge of the squad and what needs fixing.

He's definitely not a Karl Robinson type, for a start he achieves in a far quicker period than he ever managed, he may not bring you amazing football but is that a priority at this moment?

Why does Giggs get linked with so many managerial jobs in the top two divisions? There's nothing about him that screams future manager at all. Cracking player in his day but the man has as much charisma as an out of date carrot. Personally, I really hope that King Pardew makes his glorious return to management.

Bloody selfish of them to do it before we had the chance to join in on the goalscoring fun on Saturday.

I do feel a bit for Bradley, he is an established and renowned coach, his Americanisms and the terrible squad he inherited didn't help him endear himself to the public or media. Having said that he seems to have made their defence even leakier. He'll never get another job in England when I think he could do a job in the right set up and with time.

Alan Curtis did pretty well as a caretaker last year didn't he? We're a very winnable game for them on Saturday so it'll be interesting to see if and how he steadies the ship.

Hodgson is available, his methods have translated from Halmstads to Malmo, to Orebo to Neuchatel Xamax, to the Swiss national team so should work in Wales too

Rowett or Clement it seems.

I'd suggested Rowett on another thread. Did exceptionally well pulling Birmingham City out of the mire with little to no money.
He may not be a glamorous name but he'd steady the ship I'd think.

Bradley's record is shocking. He had money to spend at Le Havre and never got them even near to promotion for Ligue 1 despite having one of the country's best academy (and, as mentioned, money). He's shown his limitations as Swansea with not having a clue how to make a team win and install confidence in a seriously shit squad.

Pardew will do fine for them.

Bloody selfish of them to do it before we had the chance to join in on the goalscoring fun on Saturday.

I hope Rowett doesn't get it. He deserves better.

I still can't believe Birmingham sacked him.
