Vale face a daunting task at the Macron Stadium against one of the divisions form sides in Bolton.
Vale's dreadful away record and current form wont give us Valiants much confidence heading into the game but a superb second half performance last weekend has buoyed the fans to a degree.
Vale are riddled with injuries, key players Anton Forrester, Sam Foley and one of the divisions top hit men Alex Jones are set to miss out, Martin Patterson also looks likely to fail to make it.
Vale have sold over 700 pre-sale tickets so should be in line for a modest 1000 or so away following, an usually low amount for us to the Manchester area but away form and high ticket costs look likely to put many off.
Cant see us winning this certainly, hard to see us scoring in the 4-5-1 with Big Reg against the experience of Wheater, although his octopus like limbs may cause him a few surprises! A shit, Curocaoan Peter Crouch if you will!
My first away game of the season... haven't seen us score in the last 7 or 8 I've been too away from home!
Parkinson seems to have made Bolton a solid outfit, very much like his Bradford sides where 1-0 will usually do, need to be wary of Clough, goes down easy judging by Monday so Streete and Smith need to be wary of that with their inexperience.
A 2-0 loss for me, have the quality to get something but with injuries and poor form cant see it... only chances I can see us getting or free kicks around the box with Ryan Taylor.
