Stockport County.
We need a strong ref here. Barrow will try every trick in the book, diving, cheating etc. Hopefully we can rise above it.

Hard to see past somewhere between very comfortable and totally embarrassing AFCW win. Can’t find a fit centre half. We’re a big physical team with no big physical players apart from Smith and at a push Kizzi. Anything less than 3 will feel like a minor triumph.

Morecambe at home, will be interesting to see if this is the game we rest a few with Stockport next up, a win would be 7 on the bounce which would be the first time in decades (current run of 6 is best since 1986 I think I read yesterday).

On paper a home win is a shoe in. I still shudder at Sutton beating us home and away last season.

However we're much better team now and they, sadly, are worse.

We need to make the most of Ali Al-Hamadi before he heads off to the Asia Cup. Suggestion is that we won't have him for the Ipswich FA cup match and maybe even Forest Green on New Year's Day.

i know Stockport are top but surely 6/5 Stockport looks short and 13/5 for Barrow looks a big price?

Walsall away, they are not a good team and not in great form. Even with a depleted squad, I'd like to think we can give them a game and maybe get a result. But if White is off, we're once again light in midfield. Chris Long might finally be back, but who knows on him. I'd happily take a point, but hoping we can somehow grind out a win.

Just draw, that’ll do everyone fine.

As for us a sold out home tie with grimsby (with another to come on friday at home to doncaster).

Grimsby have a half decent record at field mill, and i suspect it’ll be another tricky game, though having only played 2 home league games in 2 months the lads will be sure to want to get a win.

The 1-1 draw there was one of those early games where we dominated pretty much from start to finish but didn’t find the winning goal, something we’re finding easier to do.

Safe trip down for those travelling.

Wins its obvious i think

Well that’s my point, according to the above that can’t be the case, unless the data is wrong?

If that was the case we’d have 2 successive same coloured dots for the 2 successive wins we’ve just had and there isn’t?

Also there’s 2 red dots, bit of an issue given we’ve only lost 1 so far this season  ;)

I recognise your point but unfortunately don't know answer.
I had not checked them before your post and assumed they were for wins and losses.
I'll try a different betting company next time.

Think it also includes cup games, and may not have updated after yesterday when posted

Morecambe (h) - first game at Valley Parade in the league in what seems to be months. Slightly dramatic, but it has been just over 4 weeks since we beat Accrington.

We’ve had some poor performances this season, but Morecambe at their gaff really took the biscuit. We offered absolutely nothing. I just hope that pill is still too bitter for the lads to swallow and they put it right here.

As mentioned, a win against Morecambe on Boxing Day will be 7-in-a-row! Unheard of round these parts.

Same team for me:

GK: Harry Lewis

CB: Jonathon Tomkinson
CB: Matty Platt
CB: Cieran Kelly

RWB: Brad Halliday
LWB: Lewis Richards

CM: Jamie Walker
CM: Ritchie Smallwood
CM: Alex Gilliead

ST: Andy Cook
ST: Tyler Smith

I think we’ll start this game quickly, and if we manage to score early, I think we’ll absolutely wallop them.

Swindon to turn into 1970 Brazil again.
Alan Brazil, maybe. We’re done, trussed up like the festive turkey. Be good to see some fans on the Bank for once. A full house ready to witness just how far we’ve fallen under the double whammy of a corrupt ownership and a useless management.

If we don't beat Doncaster at home in front of another big crowd, expect a Meadow Lane meltdown.

No excuses for the Stylish Pies. 3 points.

Love the odds, lumped a fair few quid on a home win at 5/2.....never been more confident of a win, county just can’t operate at our ground, and are strangled by the lack of width needed....these kind odds have paid for my crimbo....

IF we were to beat Stockport, and Wrexham and Mansfield win (or even Mansfield Draw) then that really throws the title race open

The most eye catching game is the champions elect up at Stockport. Winner takes the title.

Phil Wild has apparently been practising trophy lifts as well as his usual fists pumps in front of his mirror. That's the rumour anyway.
Your gaffer Paul Parkinson should be ready to be fist pumped by Phil on the 1st
