Took the dogs to the park this morning. They missed out yesterday due to 'er indoors over indulging on Xmas Eve. Very windy! Didn't help with the hangover mind, hair of the dog (pardon the pun) needed.
Dogs were running sideways in the wind.

Anyone else suffering this morning?!

Not here mate. Went over the road around 12.30 yesterday to see friends & had half a bottle of wine but that was it for the day.....rarely have a drink on Christmas day.....I'll be fine and dandy for this afternoon....:bg:

You'll be happy.....football's back for you.

I'll reserve judgement on happiness 'til I see our result at about 4.50 pm

Me neither really. I think it's largely down to me only drinking at the weekends these days. Haven't over indulged but drank maybe a bit more than usual. Body can't hack it like it could twenty years ago.

That's the plan for next weekend. Salmon and a drop of Vino. May postpone celebrations 'til New Years Day evening though as last New Years Eve we got an uninvited guest.....

Me too, hence switching to New Years Day so anyone expecting us to be partying on New Years Eve will find we are not. :bg:
And me, i'm usually in bed NYE by 11-00 as im pissed by then. I prefer to wish our friends happy new year down the pub at lunchtime as it's not crowded or has drunk idiots who feel the urge to have a fight because they can't handle their drink.

NYE is the biggest waste of time ever. Pubs are full, mainly with fuckwits, can't get a taxi home and fucking Jools Holland grips my shit.

Got my grandson to look forward to in April - everything else is just fluff at the moment.

*Going out on New Year's Eve.

I'll be relaxing at home with some beers and I consider that time well spent!

Sounds good mate. Me and the missus will be staying in drinking while watching some films and eating pitza and chips. Thankfully she's learned her lesson and will share my cider and cider brandy rather than get shitfaced on wine

I'm 75 and can confirm that there isn't an age when 'old' becomes old, it's all in the mind and general attitude towards life, I know some people (not many thank fuck as they're depressing bastards to be around) in their early 50's who act like and consider they're old and already can't wait to book into a retirement home, well fuck that, it's not for me and never will be.

I'm 62 in April but feel no different - attitude wise - than when I was 30. Went decades without going to the quacks, now I've had a knee replacement, got high BP and cholsterol, and me back's gone haywire.

Apart from that things are hunky dory! Still got lead in me pencil, too!

I guess I'm just sore since its the big four o, the traditional life-changing day. Got a bottle of Ardbeg awaiting it though, so at least I have that to look forward to on the day! :D
